The Denver Food Rave was held at Casselman’s Bar and Venue, this is the 4th year that promoters have put on this delicious event. Foodies meandered between booths that were stocked with some of Colorado’s local restaurants while great bands and DJs played in the background. Cuisines ranged from Polish to southern soul, all with little bites to peak your interests. This event showcased Colorado’s foodie culture and certainly left all attendees with a list of new places to visit.

Every year local designer Erin Bleakley and producer Luke Niforatos put together a charity fashion show to raise money and awareness for the 27 million people in the world that have some form of heart disease. All the net ticket proceeds go to the American Heart Association, 303 Magazine definitely agrees there is nothing better to support than charity fashion shows and was thrilled to cover it! 05/25/2012 – 14th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival - Day 1 - @ Denver Pavlions
The summer 2012 art festival season kicked off in grand fashion with the start of the 14th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival at the Denver Pavilions today. Painters, sculptors, photographers, jewelry makers and wood carvers all displayed their very best work along the intersection of Glenarm and 16th. St under a clear blue sky. The event showcases over 100 of Colorado’s best artists along with a select group of artists from out of state. This years festival runs over Memorial Day weekend from the 25th to the 28th. With over 150,000 visitors expected to attend this year’s four day event last years total of $500,000 in art sales should easily be eclipsed. If you are a lover of all types of art than this free event, one of the biggest downtown events of the summer, is certainly not to be missed!
05/26/2012 - Downtown Denver Arts Festival - Day 2 - @ The Denver Pavilions
This Memorial weekend was much like other weekends here in Denver, Hot. That didn’t stop people from coming out to appreciate the arts at the Downtown Denver Arts Festival held at the Denver Pavilions off of 16th Street Mall, which is expecting 150,000 attendees. This will be the 14th year for the Downtown Denver Arts Festival that showcases mostly Colorado artists with a few well-known national artists. Attendees can casually peruse the fine art and fine craft exhibits that have everything from jewelry to large sculptures. The Downtown Denver Arts Festival is a great free event to bring the family or even a date to this holiday weekend.

Think Sunday is not a night go out in downtown Denver? Think again. The lucky ones that were out at club Beta at 1909 Blake St. last night were treated to some of the best House, Techno and Electro that this country has to offer. DJ Tommy Michael got the night started off in style in the booth as the crowd started coming in for a night of bass inspired insanity. DJ Dragon then upped the tempo and got the dance floor pumping while getting everyone ready for one of the top touring DJ’s in the world. At midnight, Fedde le Grand took over and absolute blew the roof off Beta. Most well known for his hit chart topping track and video “Put Your Hands Up for Detroit”, le Grand showed the crowd at Beta exactly why he is one of the most sought after DJ’s on the planet today. You may not make it over to Ibiza this summer, but if you were at club Beta in downtown Denver last night, a little bit of Ibiza came to you!

The Downtown Denver Arts Festival was held near the Denver Pavilions on 16th St during Memorial Day Weekend. The event was sponsored by BBVA Compass, Denver PAVILIONS, Entercom, 99.5 The Mountain, KOSI 101, Alice 105.9, KEZW, 9NEWS, Guiry’s, The New York Times, Westword, Brookfield Properties, Andersen Windows, FLAIR Magazine, Conoco, and Goozmo. Crowds of art lovers and appreciators came to look, feel, and take home works of art. Nationally known artists visited from their home states to showcase their art to Colorado’s open audience. Walking through the entire festival took a good amount of time! Every booth and vendor had art unique to the artist and their place of origin. Mediums ranged from 3D Mixed Media, Clay, and Glass, to Jewelry, Wood, and Photography! If you love any form of art, you’re sure to find it at the Denver Arts Festival, don’t miss out next year if you didn’t get a chance to go this year!

This party was held at CHLOE Discotheque, located at 1445 Market St Denver. CHLOE Discotheque’s Annual Memorial Day Bash this year was themed as the Neon & White Party! The doors opened at 10 and the venue filled up within the first half hour. Special guest DJ Cobra provided the beats for the night while the club was packed with beautiful people and special guest appearances were made by members of the Denver Broncos, MTV Real World, and more! 05/28/2012 - 14th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival - Day 4 @ Denver Pavilions
The fourth and final day of the 14th Annual Downtown Denver Arts Festival happened on one of the most beautiful days of the year so far. With temperatures just below 80 degrees and blue, cloudless skies above art lovers by the thousands turned out today to get one last look at the one of the best art festivals in the country. The first thing that you noticed when walking through the exhibits at the gallery was how different many of the displays looked from day one. That’s because so many of the top pieces at the Festival had already been sold. If the turn out for this year’s event was any indication, it’s likely safe to say that next years event will likely be even bigger and better.

ATB returned on May 31st for BETA Nightclub's NRG Thursdays and he brought the heat like always! The club and dance floor was packed before he came on, getting fed great beats and vibes by ECOTEK and SERGIO SANTANA prior to ATB. Like always, BETA provided a beautiful venue for a great variety of different socialites and music enthusiasts. Beautiful, flashing, strobing, and glowing lights accent the music all throughout the club. Cryogen smoke and hundreds of wind-fans keep you cool while you're dancing your heart out and beautiful candy girls prance around the club ready to serve! The Velour Lounge, a new non-profit recording studio in Loveland hosted Hip Hop Madness Friday night at Mo Jeaux's in Fort Collins. They boasted some of the hottest hip hop artists in Colorado, including Stylz, Are You Serious, Macy Paradise, QBala, Dirtydirtbaby, Diverge and Ethix, Indastreet, Misfits, and Doeboyz. The weekend of June 2nd marked the 7th annual Mile High Meet and Greet, an event that marks the beginning of wakeboarding season for Northern Coloradoans. This weekend long event has grown over the years and become one of the largest events in the wakeboarding community. It allows boaters to meet and connect as they hit the lakes for the season. The Denver Chalk Art Festival on Larimer Square is a FREE two-day street-painting festival. More than 200 artists spend hours during the weekend turning the streets of Larimer Square into a museum of chalk art. On June 7th 2012, Kontact Productions presented Altitude Sickness Vol. 6 at Casselman's Bar & Venue located off of 26th and Walnut in NoDo. The event was headlined by BASS SCIENCE who comes all the way from Italy! The DJ Competition was sponsored and judged by The Pulse Music Festival and featured talent from the top 10 DJ's out of a screening with over 50 applicants! The DJ's included: Consept, Kongfaux, Rez'n, Synrg, Circle of Filth, Datfunf, H-K, Zac Macleod, 2 Slikk, and Lucid Index. The winner of the competition will be announced on The Pulse's website and facebook and should be announced within the next two weeks. The winner will receive an opportunity to make it big by headlining one of The Pulse's next big events! Music delivered to the audience tonight ranged from progressive trance to hip hop and dubstep mixes! Definitely a nice, well-rounded taste of Denver's up and coming artists! Denver Botanic Gardens brought back their Garden Grapes and Hops event this year with excitement and class! The event was sponsored by American Furniture Warehouse and included tastes from over 40 different vendors! These included Breweries, Restaurants, Distilleries, Wineries, Cafes, and more! Beautiful people in beautiful scenery made for a beautiful night! The fresh air muddled with the mixed aromas of grills and fryers made for a delightful plethora of scents as you walked through the event. Live music echoed through the venue. Those with VIP Admission tickets were able to attend the event an hour and a half before AND an hour and a half after the event! They also had access to Denver Botanic Gardens' own speakeasy (with a password of course)! A great night with great people and great food, don't miss the next one!

Cora Vette’s Black Box Burlesque show at Bar Standard proved to be a night of pure debauchery and retro-naughty entertainment. Cora Vette’s Black Box Burlesque featured Cora Vette with Eve Vette, Ophelia P. Coque, Russia Roulette, Kitty Piston, Cherry Pop Pop Poppins, Stella Fox, and a few other special guests. The dancers of Cora Vette’s Burlesque show treated the crowd at Bar Standard to an array of different acts ranging from singing to dirty dancing. Markus Schulz returned to Denver on June 15th 2012 for BETA Nightclub's NRG Thursdays! Schulz's epic performance was introduced by resident DJs EcoTek and Trajikk. Klutch Beat Bootique kept the temperature up in the beatport lounge upstairs all night but the show was definitely on the main floor! A darker, more atmospheric lighting scheme provided by the venue last night blended well with the beautifully exciting yet soothing sounds of Schulz's mixes! The crowd was totally into the soundtracks of the night and ready for every drop of the beat! Never a dull moment when Markus Schulz is in town! This past Friday, June 15th, Denver Hip Hop duo The Broadway hosted their Video Release Show at the Marquis Theater. Places, Be Brave, Caramel Carmela, and Be the Ant were also the artists sharing the stage for this epic Summer bash. When the video, "Make Her Wait" featuring Breathe Carolina’s David Schmitt, was debuted every person in the venue were in awe, whistling, and cheering clip to clip. Attracting people of all genders this truly is an event produced to bring the GLBT community as well as others together in a fun and entertaining environment. Fans from all over the country were out for STS9’s Sold Out performance of the “Great Cycle Spectacles” tour last night at Red Rocks. A combination of textured rhythms, thunderous bass bombs, laser like synth sounds, and a visual show that was to die for, STS9 treated those who came in from as far as New York City to a stellar performance. These performances, held in correlation with the current phase of the Mayan Calendar, and have been promoted as a celebration of music, art, expression, widespread communication, connectivity and understanding. The energy at the show last night was through to the moon. If you live in Denver and have yet to make it out to Red Rocks for a concert performance, now is as good of a time as ever. 6/17/2012 - Pride Parade @ Civic Center Park - Denver
Approximately 100,000 people turned out in downtown Denver today for the 37th Annual PrideFest Parade. Sponsored by the LGBT Community Center of Colorado, it is the third largest parade of its kind in the country. The parade started in Cheeseman Park at 9:30am this morning and ran down Colfax to Civic Center Park where it concluded around noon. With 250 local and national vendors involved, the weekend long festival is expect to bring in over $25 million in additional revenue to the City. The theme for this year's PrideFest is "Fight for Your Right to Pride!"

Van's Warped Tour 2012 was held at Sports Authority Field this year and included multiple stages and over a hundred bands. 102 degree record setting heat didn't prevent hundreds from coming out to kick off the 25th Annual Shomp BMW Denver Polo Classic at the Polo Reserve in Littleton. The first day of this three day event to raise money for children's charities featured a black tie ball that included food, wine and cocktails by Del Frisco's and Sullivan's. This year's event is expected to bring in roughly $700,000 to benefit children in need.
06/22/2012 - Village Arts Coalition International Festival @ 1300 Block of Pearl St. Boulder
The Village Arts Coalition featured square dancing on Pearl St Mall on Friday June 22 in Boulder. The Columbiners and the Scootbacks Dance Clubs, out of Boulder and Broomfield respectively, enthusiastically rallied passersby for a quick dance lesson while performing the more technical moves intermittently. Pearl St Mall was filled with people on friday, and a jaunt down the mall lent itself for some sights you wouldn't normally see. The Marquis at the Parkway in Denver always has three themed parties every summer. On June 23rd they kicked off their first pool party with a Luau theme that got so packed all the lawn chairs were gone by noon! 06/24/2012 – 2012 Schomp BMW Denver Polo Classic Championship Day @ The Polo Reserve
Championship Day was held at The Polo Reserve this past Sunday, June 24th, for the 25th Annual Schomp BMW Denver Polo Classic. After a long weekend tents were filled with guests from all over Colorado for the third and final day of the Denver Polo Classic. Dressed in garden party attire guests enjoyed a little wine and bubbly from Barefoot Wine & Bubbly while lounging on the grass outside of the tents watching the polo match and some RUFF Flyball races between matches. Guests were to partake in a silent auction, enjoy cuisine quality food from the best Denver eateries and during half time would make their way to the field to stomp on the grass to prepare for the continuing match. At the end of this third very hot day everyone gathered to watch as the Denver Polo Classic Champion was ultimately crowned and winners were announced for the raffle. Guests walked away happy and proud to have participated in this amazing weekend of events and can't wait until the 26th Denver Polo Classic in 2013. On Sunday June 25th 2012, The Denver Botanic Gardens hosted a charity event fashion show brought to us by For the Perfect You Apparel. All proceeds went to the Rocky Mountain Skin Cancer Foundation. Nationally known designers brought some of their finest designs to showcase at the event for a beautiful show! Talented models, a beautiful garden runway, and designer clothes made for a tasteful evening! Designers included: For The Perfect You Apparel, Gabriela Designs, Sapphire Stars, Fashion of Rae Marie, Barrera International, LLC, Men's Warehouse, Margot Couture, Kimono Dragon, Parasite Eve, and Studio Yoshida! Sushi style menus were given to guests interested in the silent auction for bidding on designs during the show! Prices ranged from $15 to over $2500! Of course donations were also accepted! If you're into fashion and helping out a great cause, you should have been there! This was the first annual event held and next year's event is already anticipated! 06/28/2012-- Boulder Nightlife - The Catacombs Bacaro Round Midnight
These photos of night time fun in Boulder, Colo at three local watering holes were taken Thursday, June 28. The Catacombs, located below the historic Boulderado Hotel, presented it's weekly open mic, hosted by Tommy and the Tangerines, for some to participate and all to enjoy. Bacaro, an upscale Venetian restaurant, has an outdoor deck that overlooks Pearl St. Finally, Round Midnight is the place to go for late night dancing and pool. DJ Low Key and DJ Dozen held down the musical styling for the evening playing classic hip hop and dance jams with smooth transitions in between songs. They have a regular set every Thursday at Round Midnight.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes made it out to City Park for the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge. This event gathers pets and owners from around the country to compete for the title of Incredible Dog. This year former Olympic Gold Medalist skier Peakaboo Street presented awards to the dogs and owners. With the heat that Denver has been experiencing lately there were plenty of ways for the pets to cool off, including mini pools for them to bath in. This event was one that any family could enjoy whether or not you own a pet or not.

Friday night in Fort Collins is always a lively scene, but this one was particularly busy. There were over three shows going on including Freedom Fest 20XIII at Hodi's Halfnote, High Park Fire Benefit at The Aggie Theater, and a weekly concert in the square put on by Ben and Jerry's. These three events brought all different types of people to old town to enjoy the warm evening and music as well as the local bar scene as well! On the eve of July 4th, Red Rocks Amphitheater had a sold out show, Foster the People. As the rain poured down, and Denver fret about forest fires waned slightly, The Santa Fe Artwalk was in full effect July 6, the month's first Friday. The rain brought people out to see Denver's newest trove of photography, paintings, drawings, performances, dancing, and poetry. Highlights included Dan Fong's collection of archival rock legend photography, street art, an Occupy Denver March through the street, and the Outfit with Indigenous Robot at Miami Steve's, a DIY venue space in the BlackBook Gallery.
07/07/2012 Tomato Battle Denver at Dick's Sporting Goods Park
Tomato Battle 2012, an idea derived from the famous La Tomatina in Spain, came to Denver this year at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, drawing crowds of people ready to have a few beers and a massive food fight. Hundreds of people came to drink, watch live music, but mainly they came to throw tomatoes at each other. The crowd anxiously waited to be allowed into the arena with piles of tomatoes that were deemed unsellable by farmers. The gates were opened and the crowds unleashed their tomato throwing fury at one another in the most fun way possible. By the end of the feel good battle, everyone was caked in tomato remnants with big smiles on their faces. Check out the gallery, this was the craziest and most fun food fight I've ever seen.

07/07/2012 - Cherry Creek Arts Festival Day 2 @ Cherry Creek North Denver
Day 2 of the 4 day Cherry Creek Arts Festival took place this past Saturday July 7th where guests from all walks of life came to see some spectacular art. From glass art to, paintings, photography, and even culinary art guests could enjoy everything over a few block span of Cherry Creek North. In the middle of this festival was a tent that hosted several live bands and dancing. About halfway through Day 2 an out of the blue rain storm hit the festival and had its guests running for cover. 07/08/2012 -- Mayhem Music Festival #1 @ Comfort Dental Ampitheatre
Metal heads from all over gathered at the Comfort Dental Amphitheater Sunday July 8 for the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Music Festival. Droves of fans of all ages were in attendance to bang heads, crowd surf, and be hard core. Performers included the likes of Anthrax, The Devil Wears Prada, and Slayer. Slipknot headlined the tour, providing an unbelievable live show.
07/08/2012 - Mayhem Music Festival #2 @ Comfort Dental Amphitheatre
Metal heads from all across Colorado and nearby states packed the Comfort Dental Amphitheatre this past Sunday June 8th. Some fans decided to relax through out the day and enjoy free Rockstar Energy Drinks and signings by some of their favorite bands. Other crowds of fans gathered around the Jagermeister stage to rock out and mosh to some new and old time favorite bands including White Chapel, As I Lay Dying, Asking Alexandria, and Anthrax before entering the Amphitheatre. When the main stage doors opened a stampede of fans made their way into their seats to enjoy opening bands The Devil Wears Prada, Motorhead, and Slayer. As the curtain fell an uproar of screaming rode through the crowd, the moment every fan had been waiting for, Slipknot was ready to show Colorado a epic night! 07/09/2012 - Cherry Creek Arts Festival Day 4 @ Cherry Creek North, Denver
This year marked the 21st year for the annual Cherry Creek Arts Festival. The festival is held on the 4th of July weekend every year for 3 days. The arts festival features all different walks of art in the visual, culinary, and performing arts. With over 30 sponsors for the event and an average of 300,000 attendees to the event every year, this festival is definitely one that can be enjoyed by everyone. Street performers, stage performers, culinary performers, and even live art performers kept the energy going while thousands of happy and optimistic viewers fueled the day. The festival featured an "Artivity Avenue" where everyone could find an interactive "Artivity" to express their artistic side! The festival showcased 236 exhibitors which included 12 award winners and 8 emerging artists! If you missed out on the festival this year, then you definitely missed out on one of Colorado's largest displays of national and international art!

The Colorado Irish Festival has been an annual event in Clement Park of Littleton Colorado since 1994. With music, games, food, drinks, and vendors, this festival has it all! 07/13/2012 - Be Brave E.P. Release Show @ Summit Music Hall
This past Friday July 13th at Summit Music Hall local rock group Be Brave released their 2nd E.P., "Medicine For Mistakes". With other popular local bands opening up for Be Brave (Kyle Coy, T Shirts 4 Tomorrow, Calling Out West, and Regret Night) this night was expected to be epic. As the lights went out and and intro song came on, fans crowded around the stage to see the band they have all been waiting rock the stage. Be Brave fans were singing and screaming to every song at the top of their lungs as they danced to the beat. 07/14/2012 - Colorado Irish Festival @ Clement Park Littleton Colorado Day 2
The weather acceded for a fine time in the park at Colorado's eighteenth annual Irish Festival in Clement Park. Three stages fit with a steady rotation of traditional Irish music provided the soundtrack for the day's events, while vendors of all types of Irish paraphernalia and art work padded the rest of the space looking to make a sale. Bagpipers littered the festival grounds showing off their skills and lending a teaching hand to some who were willing to learn. It was always tough to get a seat at the Jamison Irish Whiskey tasting sessions, so many cooled off a bit by snacking on a snow cone. Those were hungry may have chosen to take advantage of the bangers truck to tide them over. It was a great day for an Irish Festival in Colorado, if you were there, you may be in a picture! O.A.R., American Rock Band out of Maryland graced Denver with it presence as is probably a tradition by now. The Red Rocks air was crisp and the crowd was excited to see their favorite college classic band provide tunes that set a peaceful tone for an upbeat evening. They played their newest hope ballad "Gotta Be Wrong Sometimes," off their new album "King," finished us off with the oldies "Black Rock" "That Was a Crazy Game of Poker." 07/16/2012 - Colorado Irish Festival - Day 3 @ Clement Park, Lakewood
This year marked the 18th year of the Annual Colorado Irish Festival! The festival brought together Irish culture, music, dance, food, kids activities, entertainment and beverages for everyone! People of all ages could find something to enjoy while getting dipped into a little bit of Irish culture. Some of the main sponsors for the vent were Bellco, Killian's, 99.5 The Mountain, Jameson, and SCFD. Of course Killian's and Jameson had their own tents that were keeping everyone refreshed under the hot sun. Despite the heat, the dancers kept on stomping and smiling nonetheless. Triple digit temperatures and slight intervals of rain didn't stop the bag pipes and drum lines either! With concerts and sports all throughout the day, this festival is sure be fun for the whole family, the Irish way!
07/19/2012 - Underground Music Showcase @ 1 Broadway, Denver
This year marks the 12th annual Underground Music Showcase presented by The Denver Post. This year's festival will features over 250 performances over 4 days! Thursday July 19th was the first day of the showcase and it being a week night definitely didn't stop the people from enjoying some new, fresh, and independent music! The showcase is located at over 14 venues all along S. Broadway between W. Sixth Ave. and W. Cedar Ave. The gallery for the 19th features photos from Delite, Hi-Dive, Hornet, Irish Rover, and 3 Kings Tavern. Most venues played performances from different bands every hour! Lots of friendly UMS staff and volunteers could be found all throughout the showcase to assist in any directing or answering of questions. Whether you're a die hard music fan or just looking for a great opportunity to roam the bars and hear some great live music, you were sure to have a great time! Mustaches and bikes are a usual presence along South Broadway in Denver, but Friday July 20 brought out the best of each for the twelfth annual Underground Music Showcase. Among those rocking were Il Cattivo, Hindershot, Big Freedia and the Divas, Black Moth Super Rainbow, Hearts in Space, and John Common. 07/20/2012 - Global Dance Festival @ Red Rocks Amphitheater - Day 1
The first night of the 2012 Global Dance Festival proved to be an intense introduction of what's in store this weekend for global fans and partiers alike. On the main stage Axis of Evil jumped in early to energize the early birds and set the scene for those just arriving. Dancers and stilt walking mimes hit the pit to rally up excitement. Tangle & Mateusz got on board to battle the heat on the Global Bass stage along with the vibrantly dressed and growing crowd. As the sun settled down the bass went up and so did the various glowing gadgets scattered throughout the amphitheater. Glow sticks, wands, glasses, shirts, and a ton of other accessories took over the darkness as red rocks settled into its preferred setting of night fall. The stages throughout the venue were not shy of putting on their own glow show as well. As Ecotek took control cascading dubstep and electronics throughout the park, an intense light show backed up captivating imagery projected throughout a dozen or more screens on stage. On Saturday July 21st 2012 Red Rocks Amphitheater hosted their 2nd Annual, Fitness on the Rocks event! This event was an even bigger turn out this year. People from all over Colorado came to work out to fun classes on the top circle of Red Rocks such as Zumba Zumba and kick boxing fun! In the amphitheater, instructors lead hundreds of people in relaxing yoga and Boot Camp, which had two sessions! Complete Nutrition was the official sponsor of the event, and 303 Magazine was the official media sponsor of the event, exciting! There were booths all around the event, with vendors such as 5 hour energy, juice plus, supplement companies, fitness gear, and much more! There were also "teams" to help coach people as they did the BootCamp sessions. Teams such as Orange Theory was one of the main leaders. Saturday was day two of the tenth annual Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks, and if anyone was tired from the night before they showed no sign of it. The night was broadcasted live on national television as people from all over enjoyed various DJ's. The main artists performing tonight were Above & Beyond, Wolfgang Gartner, Morgan Page, Nadia Ali, Mord Fustang, Dave Aude, and the EC Twins. Sunday July 22 proved to be a great day for the last bit of music the Underground Music Showcase had to offer. Despite the their hangovers, fans biked on down to catch Ian Cooke, Paper Bird, Rubedo, Mr. Right, Wheelchair Sports Camp and the Zebroids to name a few. So, after a week of rattled eardrums, heavy drinking, and EXTREMELY hot weather, it was nice to finally get some rain to cool us off and wash away our sins. Until next year UMS! Although the place did not sell out, which is understandable for a show on any Tuesday night, Langhorne Slim played their hearts out at the Boulder Theater Tuesday July 24. Langhorne's energy spilled off into the crowd early on and their fans filled in the extra space with dance and sweat. Langhorne played a few tunes from their June release "The Way We Move." Mini coolers, umbrellas, and camping chairs decorated the the south lot as people picnicked their way in for a good seat to see Florence and the Machine perform at Red Rocks on Wednesday July 25. Setting the tone and warming up the crowd was the Walkmen, who played the previous night to an intimate in-store crowd at Denver's Twist and Shout record store promoting their most recent release "Heaven." The Summer Brew Fest at Mile High Station was filled with local brew fans eager to enjoy the best brews and craft beverages Colorado has to offer. The festival which also benefited Swallow Hill Music Association was topped off with live music, incredible food vendors, relaxing massage opportunities, and wacky freebies. Over thirty participants from all around including Boulder Beer, Colorado Native, Pikes Peak, Great Divide, and Breckenridge Brewery came together at the Mile High station to connect with Colorado's loyal beer drinkers.

07/27/12 - Golden Ticket Farewell Show @ Gothic Theatre
It was a bitter sweet night at the Gothic Theatre this past Friday as Colorado fans said good-bye to one of the local favorites Golden Ticket. Friends and fans crowded into the venue from all over Colorado ready to bid farewell to the band. Before they came on we were graced with the rock presence of Syke 96, Avenues & Reservoirs, and Viretta (not pictured). As the clock wound down it was time to see Golden TIcket one last time. Fans were dancing from beginning to end, tapping their feet to the beat. In the end all the bands that played that night crowded the stage for Golden Ticket's infamous cover song "Beverly Hills" by Weezer. Fans of all ages and sizes gathered at Summit Music Hall for hot pop group Allstar Weekend. Opening the show were surprise guests Rocky Loves Emily as well as Namesake (photos not included) and Honor Society. Screaming girls from wall to wall were dancing along to original and cover songs until the long awaited moment had arrived. As Allstar Weekend took to the stage girls were getting all giddy and screaming at the top of their lungs the names of each member. One by one the members of ASW came on stage and started to rock the hearts and souls of each fan. Screamo fans from all over Colorado gathered for night one of the Scream It Like You Mean It Tour (Red) in Boulder last night. With doors opening at 3:30pm and 8 bands playing this was definitely the show to be at on a Tuesday night. Bands like We Came As Romans,
Woe, Is Me, Abandon All Ships, Texas In July, In Fear and Faith, Secrets, Glass Cloud, At The Skylines took the stage for this 6 hour concert. Fans were moshing, crowd surfing, and a few times the "wall of death" occurred. Some fans had been dissapointed in the beginning of the night because Ohio band Attack Attack! would not be playing due to bus problems, but at the end of the night fans were pleased and walked out sweating from the show. If you thought Croquet was a lost sport think again. The 4th Annual Wick it and Stick Croquet Tournament in Cherry Creek's Fillmore Plaza proved that Croquet is alive and well. Several of Cherry Creek's local business and over thirty teams joined together for an afternoon of delicious restaurant offerings, never ending Stella Artois Premium Beer. and intense mallet match ups. After choosing best dressed team, individual and best hat the focus was on the field with Jiminy Wicket on board to help and assist those stuck in a rut.

Not surprising, that Beta nightclub's Bassic Fridays supplied yet another intense and electrified night of EDM and dancing! The dance floor was packed all night! Guests in the VIP tables scored a little personal space while the die hard fans jammed and grooved together out on the floor. LoadStar and Ajapai definitely worked hard for Denver tonight! If you haven't heard of them, all you have to do is check their websites for credentials. Ajapai has been touring the world all summer! 08/03/2012 -- Brazil Fest with the Boulder Samba School in Boulder Colorado
The day was filled with slight dips, twirls, and 1,2,3 timing counts as Samba fans attended workshops provided by Boulder Samba School at Brazil Fest in Boulder. It was a beautiful Friday evening at the top of Pearl St. downtown, and BSS attracted more than a gaggle of of people to watch the warm up drum circle and parade they hosted into the night. A brilliant and powerful sound, the drums could be heard from blocks away. Last night was just the beginning; the event is happening every day and night until Sunday. if you like to dance, Boulder is the place to be this weekend. The first Friday art work of August was exciting as always, and filled with people enjoying the balmy summer night. There were food vendors, live music, every kind of art imaginable including dance and trapeze. To go along with the culture filled night, there was sangria and wine and other drinks available at the galleries. Everyone had a great time and discovered new artists they loved!
08/04/12 - Brazil Fest @ Boulder Theater - Boulder
If you like to dance then you must have been in Boulder last night participating in the first of its kind Brazil Fest at the Boulder Theater. After two days of workshops and hip shaking exercises the festival capped off the weekend with performances by Corpo Do Samba, Ginga, Bateria Alegria, and Sambadende. The Colorado Brazil Fest is organized by the Boulder Samba School. Founded in 2009, the Boulder Samba School is a non-profit organization promoting the rich heritage of Brazilian culture through music and dance performances, classes, workshops, and outreach events.

This year the Colorado Scottish Festival celebrated their 49th year in existence. Festival goers were treated to a multitude of Scottish games, events, and music while they roamed they festival grounds down in Highlands Ranch. Some of the festivals features included Pipe Band Competitions, Irish Step Dancing, Tug-of-War, a Parade of Clans, and Rugby Exhibitions. This past Saturday local band A Life Worth Living played South Moe's BBQ to a crowd of energetic friends and fans. Sharing the stage with The Browning, Vale Of Pnath, and Dead For Denver made this the Saturday night show you had to be at. Head bangers and moshers packed this small venue/restaurant from wall to wall. Screaming, dancing, and singing along to every single song. After almost 40 years of 'rocking all night and partying everyday' KISS rocked out on Comfort Dental Amphitheater's stage last night in front of thousands of fans from all generations. From the infamous makeup of the The Demon (Simmons), Starchild (Stanley), Spaceman (Frehley), and Catman (Criss) and of course a phenomenal performance this was definitely one unforgettable rock n' roll night. Joining KISS in this once in a lifetime tour was none other than MÖTLEY CRÜE also long time rockers of the music world for decades. Opening the show were the Classic Rock/Rock/Punk band from the Cambridge area of the UK, The

Some much deserved ice cream was eaten by the runners of the Pearl St. Mile in Boulder on Thursday August 9 after the sprint. While 2010 and 2011 were both incredible success stories, improvements in production for this year guaranteed that the 2012 rally was even more amazing!
08/11/2012 - 25th Annual AIDS Walk Colorado @ Cheesman Park - Denver
On Saturday August 11th 2012, Colorado hosted its 25th Annual AIDS Walk. The event comes together with participants taking pledges and registering to be a walker or a runner for the event. Then they use their pledge's and bodies to raise money from supporters in their community. On the day of, thousands of people gathered together to help support the battle against AIDS and show the love and affection towards all those that are affected by AIDS. Their total donations raised was over $270,000! It was a truly beautiful sight to see, a congregation of all different walks of life gathered in one place, with one goal, and one common consideration. Whether they were there to support family and loved ones, or to raise awareness, or even just to show that they care, one could tell that everyone's heart was there for the cause!

On August 11th 2012, Riverfront Park had an inspiring evening, hosting the 9th annual event Riverfront Fashion Show 2012. With over 30 sponsors ranging from drinks to dining to designing, this event was one to remember. The Fashion Show consisted of three runway walks, from designers Alberto Makali, Tracy Reese, and Halston Heritage. There were also side acts in between each walk, such as Designer Dance Revue, and a singing performance by Sofia Simone. 303 Magazine also captured photos at the event's pre party at Cherry in Cherry Creek. Erin Streets, a local Denver designer, had models walk and display her latest designs. The Riverfront Park Fashion Show 2012 was a night to remember, including the slight rain! 08/11/2012 - The All Stars Tour @ Summit Music Hall
The All Stars Tour, a 15 band phenomenal tour hit Denver,CO this past Saturday August 11th with a crowd of well over 500 fans attending and packing Summit Music Hall wall to wall. From well known band Suicide Silence to Ukrainian band Make Me Famous this show was the place to be for the night. Front row fans were singing word for word to almost every band as they head banged all night long. Now what's a metal show without some mosh pits and the infamous wall of death? Yes that happened too. At the end of the night sweaty fans walked out of the venue, some beaten up from the mosh pits, some makeup smeared from rocking out to hard, and some just sweating from having the time of their lives.
