Mister Tuna is Hosting Private Igloo Dinners This Winter

Patio season may seem like a distant memory, however, Denver diners have a fun new option for al fresco dining this winter.

Chef Troy Guard’s Mister Tuna, “a neighborhood sanctuary” in RiNo, is offering multi-course dinners with drink pairings served in a private igloo outside. This unique dinner party experience will give diners the opportunity to mingle in style and seclusion on Mister Tuna’s patio with cozy blankets and a decorative atmosphere.

Guests will have the option of reserving the igloo for 6-8 guests on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the rate of $55 per person for a four-course dinner menu with drink pairings ($300 minimum) or Thursday through Saturday at a rate of $95 per person for a six-course dinner menu with drink pairings ($600 minimum).

Mister Tuna’s wood-fired cuisine, which was inspired by Guard’s family’s style of dining during his childhood days in Hawaii, will be showcased with a fresh, rotating menu. Some of the dishes offered  will include Scallop Crudo with ash cured, lemon, celery and whipped tofu, Rock Riverranch Bison Heart  with chermoula, fatty raisin and spicy radish, Salt Roasted Prawns with rebel farms orange thyme and citrus ghee, Rohan Duck with duck confit congee, foie gras, bonito and scallion, Oak Grilled Axe-Handle Ribeye with seaweed butter potato and miso perigourdine, and Milk Chocolate Custard with hazelnut, mango, and oak roasted plantain cajeta for dessert.

While the weather in Denver never ceases to surprise, guests may keep warm as they admire the elements in a translucent dome with culinary delights. This glistening outdoor igloo will be available through March 31.

All reservations are done over the phone, 303.831.8862 and a credit card is required to hold the reservation.
