If you’ve ever been interested in styling hair at New York Fashion Week, a team of Denver veterans wants to give you your chance. The minds behind The Beauty Underground are looking for hairstylists to join their team in New York City for this year’s Fall Fashion Week.

Beauty Underground Magazine was founded by Charlie Price, the award-winning hairstylist most commonly known in Denver as the runway producer for Denver Fashion Weekend (DFW). Price has been creating runway hair in New York since 1998 where he trained under runway masters Guido Palau, Serge Normant and Eugene Souleiman. Later in his career, Price worked alongside industry mega-names such as Kabuki, Gucci Westman and Bobbi Brown, as well as talented beauty industry friends like Janell Geason of Aveda and various superstars from the MAC team.

“My colleagues and Beauty Underground co-founders Shareena Hansen, Katie Renshaw Nielsen and I knew with our deep and varied experience we could help other hairstylists break into runway hair — show them the ropes and make the whole experience easier and even more fun than it was for us in the beginning,” said Price.

New York Fashion Week is September 7 through 15. Stylists will get to experience first hand what it’s like to style high fashion hair for the New York runway and work with the Underground Beauty team behind the scenes.
