Announcing 303 Music Fest, Coming to Denver This May

We love local artists, and for the first time ever, we’re throwing 303 Music Fest presented by LivWell Enlightened Health. On May 17, 2018, the party will feature three rooms of local performances including a silent disco, plus a Colorado musician Super Jam, a musician meet-and-greet room and much more.

The Church, one of Denver’s hottest nightclubs, has hosted industry giants from Anjunabeats to Jack Novak and Deorro, and we can’t think of a better place to party. In addition to the silent disco, Super Jam and meet and greet we’ll be selling 303 Music Vol. 1 at the event. Eighty percent of all record profits will go to Youth on Record, creating a better tomorrow for local youth and in turn, the Colorado community as a whole.

303 Music Vol. 1. is a Colorado compilation record printed by “the best damn record club out there,” Vinyl Me, Please. Featuring strictly Colorado musicians, the album features beloved local artists like GRiZTrev Rich, Wildermiss, an exclusive track by Flobots and more — only on vinyl.

  2. To sum it all up in one sentence…
new to Denver from KC, Chicago, Tulsa, Hampton Roads, Portland and many points in between, “Marshy roots” is not just a solo artist but more of a one man jug band minus the growler, busking a ramblin’ gypsy style called “blueswingrass,” a nostalgic acousti-cana, multi-genre, alterna-wave of quirky originals and eclectic covers from various eras expression via thespian shenanigans crooning upon shanty interpretations of risqué vaudevillianesque sentiments nestled between burlesque, tin pan alley cat call reminiscent licorice stick like licks of zydeco cross-harp swells as well as flutey, nautical whistle breaches bayou cruisin’ to a retro-rhythmic, rural-urban, unbridled-upbeat, slap-tickle, clawhammer-fingerpicking, delta-phonic, rag-slide, stride technique of a pianist playing guitar developed over 30 years of performing all over the states with a minimalistic, raw, unrefined but sharp, no frills while displaying that certain je ne c’est cliche’ essence of entertaining that smacks of musical magic, a mu-gician suitable for all ages!
