Now that we have covered the basics, let’s break it down. From runways to street style, the classic winged eye is never a faux pas. Yet drawing the perfect winged eye can be tedious and stressful. At times one eye is sheer perfection, while the other eye looks like you closed your eyes, wished for the best and an earthquake hit.
So here is the secret to get a perfect winged eye every singe time: use a spoon. Seriously, any spoon from the kitchen drawer or the work break room can help you achieve this classic look with minimal effort.

- Using the handle of the spoon, angle the spoon to create a line between the outer corner of your eye to the end of your brow.
- Now trace along the top as far as you desire for your winged eye. I usually draw the line about ½ cm upward from the outer corner of my eye.
- Flip the spoon around and align the outer edge of the curve down toward your lash line. Apply liner following the curve of the spoon from the tip of the wing back toward your lash line.
- Then fill in your outlined wing and continue to line the rest of your upper lash line. You are now a master of the classic winged eye.
