For one night only, chef Hunter Pritchett returns to Denver with his Los Angeles-based GoldenBoys at the RiNo Yach Club. Pritchett formerly manned the burners at Luca and now heads a Chinese food pop-up series in LA. The menu for Friday night’s pop-up includes a crispy orange chicken sandwich, Xi’an al pastor, oysters with a cucumber mignonette and Szechuan chili sauce and more. You can also count on accompanying cocktails from McLain Hedges at the Yacht Club. The pop-up runs from 7 to 11 p.m. or until food sells out.

Boulder-based Wild Standard is known for its sustainable seafood and locally sourced cuisine, which won’t be going away when the restaurant relaunches with a slightly different concept. “When we opened Wild Standard, I liked the idea of a dim-sum dining option. The initial goal was to provide an interactive and fun experience for the table,” explained chef Bradford Heap. “In theory, this was a convenient and entertaining dining option. Operationally, it just didn’t pan out. We’ve made the decision to change our format to something more traditional and enjoyable for our guests.”

Heap has worked on creating a menu of new American cuisine that will change seasonally. It features appetizers, shareable small plates and larger entrees. “The new menu and serving style is really in the interest of our guests,” explained Heap.”
