Denver’s newest messenger bag outfitter has done it again and launched yet another absolutely-can’t-live-without-unquestionably-covetable product. And just in time for the holidays, too.
Timbuk2’s custom Prospect backpack is everything you could want out of a backpack, with some little extras you didn’t even know you needed – but do. This new bag packs a punch: large main compartment, front pocket for smaller items, laptop pouch, weatherproof materials, super-comfy straps with a removable sternum strap; even an on-strap bottle opener for an impromptu brew with friends.
Now to the best part: these bags are fully customizable. Admittedly, it took me awhile to make my final selection given the seemingly endless options to make it my “own” bag – and I am thrilled with the result. I can proudly sport my new backpack, fairly certain I won’t see another like it.

True to their roots, the Prospect packs are made in the U.S. at Timbuk2’s own San Francisco factory. Start creating your own either by heading over to Denver’s Timbuk2 location in Larimer Square (which opened May 2014), or through the company’s website.
