Big. Bold. Modern. Transit. Union Station celebrated it’s first of many Grand Openings beginning with the new underground 22-gate bus terminal this past Friday. The celebration brought leaders from all over the state, including both U.S. senators Mark Udall and Michael Bennet, Governor John Hickenlooper, and Denver mayor Michael Hancock along with many other sponsors and organizers directly involved with the project. Celebrations included a Native American blessing, ribbon cutting, street vendors, live music, a beer garden, free bus tours, and much more. Check out the gallery from the event here!
