If you’re an avid traveler, there’s no better place to be than in Denver – though it’s not Denver International Airport (DIA) – rather Convergence Station at Meow Wolf Denver. Why stick to seeing the conventional world when you can explore quantum travel into post-apocalyptic scenes, Avatar-like forests, Fifth Element-inspired cities and more?
Now, you have the chance to grab a few cocktails on your layover by visiting Meow Wolf Denver’s newest executive travel lounge, Sips with a Z, located on the second floor of Convergence Station. This cosmic-themed bar wouldn’t be fit for QDOT travelers without a funky cocktail menu, shareable bites, flatbreads and sweet treats.
If you’re looking for classics, the menu has you covered with a triple threat – Manhattan, Negroni and Old Fashioned. While the more adventurous traveler and drinker has a handful of cocktails to choose from, including a Yawlp Seeker, made with Old Forester 100 Bourbon, Marble Moonlight espresso liqueur, Foro Amaro, orange and Angostura bitters, sodium crystals and activated charcoal.
With a long journey ahead, you may need to fill your stomach, and the shareable menu includes a charcuterie, meat and cheese board, or select one of three flatbreads – pepperoni, tomato and mozzarella and seasonal.
No need to “pack a lunch” or grab a bite before your next trip to Convergence Station. Get off at Sips with a Z for a boozy drink or snack, and prepare yourself for the sights and sounds inside Denver’s many alternative universes.
