303 Street Style – Our Favorite Costumes at Denver Comic Con 2018

Denver Comic Con dazzled this weekend with some amazing cosplay from individuals who gathered to see their favorite artists, comic book writers, celebrities and panels. Attendees at The Con were able to experience 600 hours of information in the form of panels, workshops and Q&As. Denver Comic Con attendees did not disappoint with tons of talented cosplayers displaying their work for all to see, coming from all across Colorado to showcase their love of nerdom.

Cosplayer Regina dressed as a “spirit sprite” taking inspiration from a Dead Head Rum traveled from Westminster to attend The Con.
McKenzie Johnson cosplayed as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad.
Cosplayer Hailey dressed as Pennywise the Dancing Clown from “It.”
Many of the Denver Comic Con attendees attended with friends in groups. Cosplayers dressed as superheroes.
Michael and Sal from Fountain Colorado cosplayed as Jango Fett and Boba Fett from Star Wars. The two were attending The Con for the third time to see other cosplayers and to meet new people.
Dresana “Drizzy” cosplayed as Maleficent from the 2014 film Maleficent. Drizzy had created her own working mechanical wings from “linear actuators attached to a circuit board, controlled by [a small controller]”.
Cosplayer Jordan dressed up as Edward Scissorhands with perfectly coiffed hair.
Connie, Alyssum and Emma dressed as the three good fairies, Flora, Fauna and Merryweather. Emma introduced her sisters to Denver Comic Con after attending and now the sisters come together as a tradition every year.
Cosplayer Christina dressed as Cheetah the Villain that is to be featured in the next Wonder Woman film. Christina was painted by Carter White Creations.
Cosplayer Carlos attended the Denver Comic Con as Deadpool from the Deadpool film series. He attended The Con “Because I like Chimichangas.” in true Deadpool fashion.
A cosplayer made his way to Denver Comic Con dressed as Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. “I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot!”
Sisters Emily and Hailey attended the Denver Comic Con together as a fun tradition. The two dressed as characters from Natalia, an anime series.
A mother introduces her son to a cosplayer dressed as the character Baymax from the movie Big Hero 6.
Iona from Colorado Springs dressed as a Steam Punk Little Mermaid to create a twist on the original character.
Jesse dressed up a steampunk character from his own creation dubbed Agent Jess Master. Jesse balanced on stilts throughout Denver Comic Con and showcased his innovative masterpiece.
Cosplayer dressed as a cartoon character impressed Con goers as he stood tall and boomed with a loud voice.
A couple, Mitch and Anna dressed as Miss Elizabeth and Macho Man after the famous wrestling couple.

  1. These are the best you could find? This is barely a cross section of the awesome costumes that were there.
