This past week, notable Italian designers showed their newest collections at Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2011. Some of the most recognizable and elite designers show their collections at Milan Fashion Week including D&G, Prada and Gucci . And they were all sending the same message for spring – COLOR! From D&G’s use of bold floral hues to Prada’s use of warm tones like violet, green and royal blue to Gucci’s abundant use of Caribbean colors like orange, purple and green, Italian designers were clearly feeling cheerful. Although silhouettes may have seemed simple at many shows, color was painting style into almost every look.
Looks like shoppers will have a bright fashion future.
