Time to switch out those ragged boots for some bangin’ Spring shoe trends. For this season, hot trends ranged from mules to pantone color picks to appliqués and embellishments galore. Here are some of those show stoppin’ trends from a variety of hot designers to give you a little shoe inspiration for your Spring wardrobe!
Trendy
The slingback and mule will eventually make their way into your closet this season. These top two trends can be found everywhere from TOPSHOP to high-end designers such as, Valentino. The slingback Valentino pictured below incorporates a variety of spring trends including pastels, embellishments, and the popular pointed toe. Backless Mules are popular this season in a variety of neutrals and styles to compliment nearly every type of emsemble.
Statement
One way to stay fierce this spring it to take full advantage of the unconventional chunky wedge. Genius designer, John Galliano, took the vibrant pantone color, Freescia, and created a masterpiece. The vivid color is an instant head-turner and can be found on numerous shoe styles this season from designers such as, Giuseppe Zanotti, Nicholas Kirkwood, Prada. and Christian Louboutin. Shoe Cult (seen below) is rocking the cage just as many designers are in some aspect or another. Cage provides an edgy accent to typically feminine designs.
Low Riders
The slingback trend will channel into many other styles for Spring. The Tory Burch Loafer Slingback and 3.1 Phillip Lim Slingback encompass a contemporary quality through the metallic and clear accents on a classic shoe perfect for trendy looks. The rule for Spring is the higher the gladiator the better (heel or no heel). The Black Cage Leg Sandal by Camilla Skovgaard pictured below is a necessary trend to keep in your closet for the 2014 Spring/Summer season.
