Ok, so I normally blog purely about the Denver Art scene, but being a graphic designer/closet mac junkie, this is just too cool to pass up. KARVT is a Denver-based start up founded by friend and local graphic designer/deejay Sean Herman and laser etching guru Kurt Barbee, who has done some etching work for Jason Thielke, 303 Magazine’s recent featured artist. KARVT creates 100% real wood skins for MacBooks and iPads, they also have a “artist series”  product line the uses etched artwork from both local and international artist. A super cool juxtaposition of design, art and fashion that is created right here in our fine city…ordering mine right now!
