National Western Stock Show Kick-Off Parade

Where: Denver’s Union Station, 1701 Wynkoop St., Denver

The Lowdown: Denver’s Union Station presents the National Western Stock Show Kick-Off parade. The event features the annual parade to celebrate the beginning of the National Western Stock Show. You can watch as longhorn cattle walk through downtown Denver, performances from marching bands, cowboys and more.

Loveland Hooky Day

Where: Stoney’s Bar and Grill, 1111 Lincoln St., Denver 

Cost: $65 get tickets here

The Lowdown: Stoney’s Bar and Grill teams up with Oskar Blues Brewery to present Loveland Hooky Day. The event features a day of playing hooky. You can grab a bus ride to Loveland Ski Area, ski all day, sip on brews and more. The ticket price includes the ride up, a lift ticket, lunch, snacks and beer, all for only $65.

The Lowdown: Crooked Stave presents its 8th Anniversary Celebration. The event features four-days of special tappings, releases and other delights. Start off the celebrations with a release of four different brews, a T’Oats McGoats hazy NEIPA, a Gino Stout imperial stout, The Crooked Lemonhead golden sour and an 8th Anniversary bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout porter.

International Sportsmen’s Exposition

The Lowdown: Colorado Parks and Wildlife presents the International Sportsmen’s Exposition. The event features four days of fishing and hunting demonstrations, presentations from experts, booths of more than 500 different companies and more. You can take part in activities and find some killer gear.

Blade Runner

The Lowdown: Alamo Drafthouse Denver presents a screening of Blade Runner. The film follows the adventures of Deckard, a Blade Runner who is forced to re-enter the police force after four replicants escape from a colony and make their way to Earth.

Alpha Bowhunting Indoor Challenge

The Lowdown: Alpha Bowhunting presents the Alpha Bowhunting Indoor Challenge. The challenge features a four-day competition in coordination with the International Sportsmen’s Exposition. You can compete in rounds with others and shoot to win prizes.

Annual Warren Miller Film Screening

The Lowdown: Stoney’s Bar and Grill hosts its Annual Warren Miller Film Screening. The event features a screening of Face of Winter — a film that travels across the world exploring ski culture. The ticket price includes the screening, lift ticket deals, drink specials and more.

4th Annual Northwest Beer Fest

The Lowdown: The Oriental Theater presents a 4th Annual Northwest Beer Fest. The event features a tasting of brews from more than 10 local breweries and wineries, live music from Undercover! and more. The proceeds from the event will benefit North High and Skinner Middle School.

113th National Western Stock Show

The Lowdown: Celebrate the annual festival of agriculture, Western culture, cowboys and more during the 113th National Western Stock Show. The event features 15 days of performances such as rodeos, a trade show, livestock shows and it all starts with a parade on January 10.

Babe Cereal Party
