As we’re beginning to settle into 2019, the rollout of the upcoming Red Rocks concert season barrels onward. Today, both Gregory Alan Isakov and RÜFÜS DU SOL  announced individual dates at the famed venue.  The first of the two, Colorado’s-own Gregory Alan Isakov announced that he will hit the venue on August 4 alongside Mountain Man. Isakov’s imminent date comes on the heels of his brand new record Evening Machines, his first full-length original project since 2013’s The Weatherman. Though fans got a taste of Isakov’s newest project when he hit the venue this past September, the forthcoming date will be his first in Denver following the album’s release.

RÜFÜS DU SOL is no stranger to Red Rocks, however, today’s announcement marks their first go at headlining duties. Returning to town for a late-season date on October 2, RÜFÜS DU SOL along with Bob Moses will once again throw down for their adoring fans. Likewise, in the expansive scope of their latest project Solace, there may not be a better locale to catch the band’s bolstered soundTheir headlining upgrade should come as no surprise to fans who trekked out during a particularly snowy weekend in Denver this past November to catch two sold-out performances by the electronic trio at the Fillmore Auditorium.  In fact, the group has made Denver almost a yearly retreat since their first show at the now-defunct 1UP venue. They’ve popped up at everything from Funk On The Rocks with Chromeo and opening for ODESZA, to consistently selling out venues like the Gothic and the Fillmore.

Tickets for Gregory Alan Isakov and RÜFÜS DU SOL go on sale this Friday, January 11 at 10 a.m. via AXS.
