The Lowdown: Have a photo of your adorable canine taken for a good cause at CheesmanBark’s Dog Portrait Benefit. You can grab a cold brew and meet other furry friends while you wait to have Alex Hopes shoot the perfect photo of your pup. All of the proceeds from the event will go towards the MaxFun Animal Adoption Center.

The Lowdown: Jam out to tons of different artists at the Velorama Festival. The festival features artists such as Matt and Kim, Modest Mouse, Cold War Kids and more. Bob Ross ROLL

The Lowdown: Lace up your best rolling skates for a Bob Ross ROLL. You can celebrate the life of Bob Ross by skating to beats from DJ Soup, singing in karaoke and more. Make sure to wear your most artistic clothing and be prepared to create metaphorical happy little trees. The event is free from 9 to 10 p.m. After 10 p.m. there is a $5 entry fee.

Mid Summer Fashion Soirée
