Your favorite holiday has almost arrived, or at least for most of you, as Independence Day is almost here. Denver has a huge amount of events to offer all you Coloradans out there. From Independence Eve to the Cherry Creek Arts Festival and our very own 303 Pool Party, there is something fun for each and everyone of you. In addition, for all you science nerds out there, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science is hosting a talk at Mile High Spirits. Plus an Open Mic Night at Denver’s own Declaration Brewing.
Independence Eve

The Low Down: Bring your family and friends to the seventeenth-annual free Independence Day celebration at Civic Center Park. You’ll have all kinds of fun. Fireworks, light shows and concerts are just a few of the events you’ll be enjoying. Bring your own picnic, blankets and chairs to make this celebration extra special. And make sure to arrive early so you don’t miss out on anything.
Cherry Creek Arts Festival

The Low Down: Did you know that the CCAF is an award winning and world renowned celebration? The event’s goal is to support education and provide worthwhile art experiences. As always, there will be plenty of “ARTtivities” for you including live music, fine cuisine, artist demonstrations and much more. Make sure to attend one of these three-day events… you never know if you run into the next Picasso.
303 Pool Party

The Low Down: You’ve probably heard my co-workers and I say over and over again that you need and have to attend one of our 303 Pool Parties, but trust us it’s worth it. Invite your friends for this unique Fourth of July weekend party. There’ll be food and booze, live DJ sets and so much more. This is a party you definitely don’t want to miss out.
Science on Tap

The Low Down: This week Dr. Joe Sertich, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science curator of dinosaurs, will be attending Mile High Spirits, among other YP’s, to give a fascinating talk on the paleo history of Denver and learn a bit more about the daily life of a scientist. Pretty cool, right? You’ll be enjoying as well some yummy snacks and signature drinks. Your ticket includes two cocktails plus food.
Open Mic Night at Declaration

The Low Down: Do you think you can sing? Yes? No? Maybe? Come down to Declaration Brewing Company to show off your talent or support your fellow singers. There’ll be food trucks and tasty drinks for all. What are you waiting for?
