The Low Down: The creative and collaborative pot-industry startup collective, Green Labs, will host a “Buddz and Breakfast” to go along nicely for some wake-and-bake. Start 4/20 off right with a full breakfast catered by Cultivating Spirits, consisting of crepes, mimosas and fruit paired perfect with “select cannabis strains” from Fresh Baked Boulder. And the best part about all of this is that you’ll be having this breakfast with one of the biggest names in Reggae, Collie Buddz.

The Low Down: It’s no doubt the most famous pot-friendly toasted sub shop around town will be getting in on the festivities this year. Cheba Hut has yet to officially announce what it is cooking up for us, but based off its Facebook page, the “epic celebration” is something to get excited about. In past years, Cheba Hut has hosted a massive block party, and offered a 4-inch “nug” sandwich, chips and a drink for $4.20 in honor of the holiday. The Low Down: The Denver Flea is back for its second year in a row with a packed two-day spring event scheduled for this weekend. This fun and community-based event brought several thousand folks to its Holiday Edition this past December, and is expected to be even bigger and better this season with many new additions. The Low Down: Known for its exclusive pop-up dinners (see above for sneak peek of this month’s dinner location), Silver Spork will its second annual Midnight Bacchanal party. Occurring after Flea, this night of “classy debauchery” will feature “musical surprises” such as dueling Jazz quartets, an all-night open bar, and circus performers including a potential stilts bar where party-goers can stand on circus stilts and enjoy food and booze from above. The official theme (which will dictate a dress code) and location will be sent out sometime this week. Only 300 tickets are available and as the clock counts down to the event, the prices will reportedly rise.

The Low Down: The second installment of the weekly brunch running is here and it’ll be held at The Corner Office. The people behind bRUNch want to make life simple: run, eat and drink. That’s exactly what they have planned for runner’s this Sunday who sign up to run a 5k or a 10k, then re-fuel with some red velvet pancakes, pork belly benedict, croque madame, mimosas, bloody marys and more.
