Denver has a new New Year’s Eve event. Only a powerhouse promoter pairing like Global Dance Music and Sub.Mission dubstep could concoct a December 31 massive on the scale of Decadence. Convening at the 10,000 capacity, virgin-to-the-dance-music-community Convention Center downtown, Decadence boasts talent including Circus Records’ Flux Pavilion, Funtcase and Cookie Monsta, plus Dieselboy, Bad Boy Bill, Feed Me and BT. Local support like Ishe, Fury, Jontron, Joman, Dirt Monkey and Ecotek fills out the bill. 303 Magazine will be there as well. Ecotek enlisted the minds behind Denver Fashion Weekend to produce a short runway show for the midpoint of his 10pm set. Donna Baldwin, 303’s go-to modeling agency, is slated to supply the girls. And Au79 Productions’ Autumn Binion has been corralled into choreographing. As if that wasn’t enough incentive to attend, a $1,000 prize purse goes to the person deemed “Most Fashionable.”
Do you have the fashion sense to take home a grand in cash?
