HBO to Host Special Screening of Season 2 “Ballers” in Denver

The Low Down: Mark Schlereth hosts the Season 2 premiere of HBO’s “Ballers”

HBO will host the premiere of Season 2 of “Ballers” at LIME Denver Pavilions July 13. Former Denver Bronco and three-time Super Bowl champion, Mark Schlereth, has a recurring role this season and will host the event.

Dwayne (The Rock) Johnson stars as ex-superstar Spencer Strasmore in the comedy “Ballers,” which looks at the lifestyles and real-life problems of former and current football players. Johnson’s character has retired, becoming a financial manager and mentor for other players in Miami. Real life NFL players, current and retired, make cameos throughout the show.

Along with Schlereth, reigning Super Bowl champion Tyler Polumbus, former Denver Bronco Ed McCaffrey, Denver Outlaws players Jeremy Sieverts, Ryan LaPlante, Nick Ossello, Bailey Tills and Jon Cohen and former Denver Nugget Scott Hastings are confirmed to attend the premiere.
