Hate her or love her, Kim Kardashian always looks gorgeous. And while she’s naturally stunning, it doesn’t hurt that she has a team of professional hair, makeup and nail people flock to her house every time she needs to be ready for a red carpet event. And by event, I also mean running errands, divorcing Kris Humphries, whatever. I mean, if I had people willing to do my hair and makeup every time I needed to leave the house, my runs to the grocery store would be much more interesting and my nights out in LoDo would not require me to stand in line outside of Chloe´.

Well, my dream of getting professionally glammified might just become a reality now that Fluff Bar has entered the Denver scene.

Owner Brit Chambers has realized what we already know—that Denver rocks and is truly the up-and-coming city in the U.S.—and so it fits that 1516 Wazee Street should be where she chose to open her flagship store last December.

“LoDo seems really ready for our concept. We are excited to be here,” she says.

While working in L.A., Chambers was one of those hair and makeup people who went to stars houses to help them get ready for parties and other social occasions.

“My favorite thing in the entire world is to make women look and feel like stars,” Chambers says. “So it’s just a fun, social environment.”

Her clients were always inviting friends over, pouring alcohol and generally having a great time being pampered. Chambers decided to create an atmosphere (so-lounge or social lounge, as she calls it) where regular people could come in and get “beautified” all while sipping a tasty cocktail.

Thus, Fluff Bar was born.

A full menu of beer, wine, champagne and signature cocktails are available along with hairstyling, cut, color, makeup and manicures. With four flat screen TVs and a projector, boyfriends and husbands are encouraged to come and watch the game as their ladies get ready for a night out on the town. Fluff Bar also offers straight razor shaves for men.

Friday nights are “Sip and Style” nights, where for $25 a gal can get her hair done and a cocktail to start the night off right. We recommend the Becca (Hpnotiq Liquor, AKA Vodka, red grapefruit juice and rose´) or the Mikki Twist (G’vine Floraison Gin, orchid lychee fruit liquor and lavender syrup with fresh lemon juice and sage). Yum.

So whether you are in the mood for a great hairstyle, some makeup tips, a quick mani or a pre-dinner drink, Fluff Bar’s got you covered.
