Tomorrow, 8/29, Colorado’s favorite and only all-women bike ride, the Venus De Miles, will take place. This ride raises money for Greenhouse Scholars, making it fun and charitable too. Greenhouse Scholars provides financial support to talented college students with limited resources. Venus De Miles offers three bike rides: 33 miles, 51 miles, or 67 miles—all beginning at Prospect in Longmont, CO.

I am super bummed my bike is in transit from MA to CO, otherwise I’d be 100% participating in this event. Ladies, the post-ride celebration includes everything from spa services (manis, massages, acupuncture, makeup lessons, etc.), to a complimentary lunch, to a cocktail lounge with mojitos, wine, and beer. Can you say yes please? I may even sign up for next year’s ride now. Online registration (check it out for more info) closed last week, but you can still head on over to Prospect tomorrow morning, pay the registration fee, and ride the Venus De Miles! Rides start at 7AM. What’s better than spending the day riding for charity and then being massaged while enjoying a mojito afterwards? Sounds like my idea of a perfect Sunday. Happy riding.
