As if the highly anticipated (and publicized) adaptation of Eat Pray Love wasn’t enough to get independent women everywhere planning their solo excursions this weekend, the movie has inspired some fashion lines to shop first.

Fashion designer extraordinaire Sue Wong has launched “Eat Pray Love by Sue Wong,” which includes ethnic pieces inspired by the story’s focus on India and Indonesia. The collection has several elaborate pieces including “intricately embellished cocoon coats and beaded tops and pants.” The line will be available at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, Dillard’s and select boutiques.

Dogeared, a jewelry line known for dainty wish bracelets and necklaces, collaborated with Sony Pictures to produce a licensed collection of jewelry and travel accessories to accompany the movie. The collection, inspired  by author Elizabeth Girlbert’s self-discovery, includes sterling silver and gold-dipped necklaces and gemstone earrings. Luggage tags, bookmarks, tote bags, jewelry rolls and journals also echo the spiritual journey theme. Many of the pieces are sold on printed paper with graphics and inspirational messages influenced by the story.  Prices range from $12 for a bookmark to $152 for a 109 wishes prayer bead necklace with green onyx.

Cosmetic company Fresh, has also done a line to mirror the movie. They’ve released a trio of fragrances branded “eat,” “pray,” “love.” “Eat” indulges the senses in Italian flavors, including lemon, basil, bergamot, plum, caramel, meringue and vanilla.  “Pray” captures spiritual notes with incense, rose, patchouli, amber and musk. “Love,” stemming from the chapter in Indonesia, offers hints of jasmine, sandalwood and mango blossom. The fragrances retail for $32 for a 1-oz. eau de parfum spray. A trio of candles is also available for $45. Items can purchased on the website.
