Denver Fashion Week (DFW) is officially assembling its beauty team for Fall 2026, and talented hair and makeup artists are invited to apply for one of the city’s most exciting fashion events.
Taking place November 7–15, 2026, Denver Fashion Week is seeking professional, creative, and collaborative artists to help transform designers’ visions into runway-ready looks. From bold editorial beauty to polished, wearable styles, hair and makeup artists play a critical role in bringing each collection to life.
Each participating designer will be assigned a team responsible for styling eight or more models on show day. Artists may work across multiple designers throughout the week and will receive detailed mood boards beforehand to help prepare for the aesthetic direction of each collection.
Working backstage during Denver Fashion Week requires more than technical talent. Artists must thrive in a fast-paced environment, maintain industry-standard sanitation practices, and work efficiently under tight deadlines. All hair and makeup services are completed on-site unless DFW has approved prior arrangements.
Applicants should be prepared to provide their own products, disposables, and tools. Designers requesting specialty accessories or props for specific looks will be responsible for supplying those items.
Freelance artists are strongly encouraged to apply, and all artists must submit individual applications.

Artists will be credited as part of their designer’s creative team, giving them valuable exposure within Colorado’s fashion community.
