This week in concerts, temperatures may be dropping but at least the sun is still shining. We’ve got a great week of music for you to keep you warm!
TVBOO is bringing the last legs of his “Daisy Dukes and Cowboy Boots” to Mission Ballroom on 12/7. The beloved riddim and dubstep artist will be joined by Schlump, smith, Canvas and local favorite MPORT and it should be a boot-shakin’ good time.
Bluegrass phenoms Broke Mountain Bluegrass are hitting Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom for a two-night run on 12/6 and 12/7. They’ll be joined on both nights by some of the genre’s most interesting up-and-comers, with Armchair Boogie kicking things off on Friday and Denver locals Wood Belly on Saturday. It’s sure to be a get-down for the ages, so don’t sleep!
Hip-hop virtuoso Brother Ali of Rhymesayers Entertainment will at Cervantes’ on Sunday 12/8. The rapper and activist will be bringing Ant, producer of Atmosphere and many other artists, and Dee-1 for a night sure to be as groovy as it is enlightening.
