Panzano’s 20th Anniversary

The Lowdown: Adventure Film Festival is back in Boulder. The event features three days of amazing adventure-centric films. First Friday Art Walk

Cannibal The Musical

The Lowdown: The Bug Theatre hosts Cannibal The Musical, a production created by Trey Parker. The musical presents the real-life story of Alferd Packer, the sole survivor of a trip to the Colorado Territory that ended in cannibalism. Packer’s story has become a mainstay of Colorado history, especially in Boulder where they even have a cafeteria named after him. You can experience his tale of the journey through musical bounds.

The Lowdown: Denver Rock Drill hosts The WhiskyX Denver. The second annual event features tastings of more than 60 whiskeys, bites from local food trucks and chefs and more. You can also have a chance at getting a hair trim from Scotch & Scissors as well as free Hoyo de Monterrey cigars for VIPs.

After Dark Corn Maze

The Lowdown: Denver Botanic Gardens hosts an After Dark Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms. You can take a nighttime stroll throughout a maze made up of seven acres of corn, designed by emergency first responders. The Lowdown: Upslope Brewing Company hosts a 4th Annual Backcountry Tap Room. The event features a 2.5-mile hike in Grand Park leading to an outdoor tap room. The Lowdown: Denver Art Museum opens its doors for Free First Saturday. You can enter the museum at no cost and explore all of the amazing art that it holds. All general admission tickets are free, however, if you do want to explore ticketed exhibitions, they will still be priced as normal.

Punkin Chunkin

The Lowdown: The City of Aurora teams up with Colorado State Bank and Trust to present the Punkin Chunkin. The event features a seasonal festival with live music, a pumpkin patch and of course, a pumpkin chucking. You can also watch a chainsaw carving competition, sip on brews from a beer garden and munch on food from vendors.

Sunday, October 7

Peking Duck Pop-Up

The Lowdown: Departure Denver hosts a Peking Duck Pop-Up. The event features a chance to take a bite out of a crispy Peking Duck to share. The ticket price includes one Peking duck that serves two to four guests, traditional garnishes such as scallions, plum and hoisin sauce and more.

Hot Chocolate 15k/5k
