Little Brown Girls Part 3

The Lowdown: Little Brown Girls Part 3 exhibit is open. The exhibit features works from Lia Nelson-James, an artist that focuses on telling stories of young girls and women of all different hues. The artworks showcase positive perspectives of the lives of women of color.
Film On The Rocks

The Lowdown: Film On The Rocks presents a viewing of 10 Things I Hate About You. The film follows a moody teenager, Kat Stratford as she battles with the frustrations of high school and the young love of Patrick Verona.
Tuesday, June 5
Human Error

The Lowdown: Follow the journey of two polar opposite couples in Human Error. The play by Eric Pfeffinger features a story of two couples whose fertility doctor makes the unimaginable mistake of implanting the wrong embryo into the wrong woman. The couples have to come together for a nine-month adventure despite their differences.
Someone You Love: The HPV Epidemic

The Lowdown: Landmark’s Mayan Theatre presents a special screening of Someone You Love: The HPV Epidemic. The film takes a look at five womens’ experiences with cervical cancer and living with the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). The screen brings awareness to cervical cancer and the dangers that lie within the disease.
Wednesday, June 6
Film For All Seasons

The Lowdown: Landmark’s Esquire Theatre host Film For All Seasons. The event features two screenings of the classic film, The Godfather. The film features a story about Don Corleone — the patriarch of a mob — and his family’s mob empire.
Daybreaker DEN

The Lowdown: Daybreaker DEN is back. The hit workout party features a theme of Rays and Shades, s0 make sure you wear your best beach apparel. You can start your morning with an hour-long yoga flow led by The River Yoga and then dance the morning in with beats from DJ Ne.Hau and Danny Marin. You can also grab breakfast from vendors, watch live performances and more.
The Least of These: A Journey of Hope Through the Eyes of Jonathan Clark

The Lowdown: Mexican Cultural Center presents The Least of These: A Journey of Hope Through the Eyes of Jonathan Clark. The exhibit features a photography showcase focusing on Honduras. Jonathan Clark created International Hope Builders, a humanitarian construction group. Through working with the group, Clark began to take photos of the conditions of the locations he and his team traveled to in Honduras.
Free FIT36 Workout
When: June 6, 6 – 7 p.m.

The Lowdown: Fit36 presents a Free FIT36 Workout. The workout features a High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout. After the workout, you can ride on an eTuk for free to Biju’s Little Curry Shop for a free beer. The group will meet at the east end bridge over the Platte River.
Chalkbeat’s Summer Social

The Lowdown: PlatteForum finishes its celebration of 15 years with unCANNY. The exhibition features works curated by Ariana Romero and Harris Schweiterman, two ArtLab alumni. You can explore pieces from Romero, Schweiterman and other students, featuring a collaboration of digital and visual art.
Harry Potter-thon

Golden Triangle Public Art Tour

Denver’s Inaugural Trash Fashion Show

The Lowdown: Get trashy at Denver’s Inaugural Trash Fashion Show. The show features designs created from upcycled and recycled goods. iMarble
