NOTE: 303 Music Vol. 1 is now sold out. Stay tuned for information on Volume 2

The wait is over.

303 Music Vol. 1, a 12-track compilation record of purely Colorado artists is finally available. First, we teamed up with Vinyl Me, Please to produce a record like no other — it features strictly local artist like GRiZ, Trev Rich and Wildermiss to name a few and even an exclusive track by Flobots. Everything from the tracks to the artwork on the vinyl bleeds Colorado. And the local love doesn’t stop there. We sought out the assistance of local talent John Vogl for the album artwork and just like our beautiful state, it pops. Vogl took his inspiration for the art from the colors of the Colorado flag and natural beauty of our state. He has spent years making concert posters for a variety of bands like St. Vincent, Shakey Graves and Sylvan Esso, and jumped at the opportunity to once again support local musicians.

Now, on the heels of 303 Music Fest, the official release party for 303 Music Vol. 1, the record is finally available. And if having a compilation of 12 of your favorite Colorado artists on one vinyl wasn’t enough 80 percent of all profits from 303 Music Vol. 1 benefit the local organization Youth on Record — and that’s something both us, and the musicians can get behind.

“Youth on Record far exceeds anything that we possibly could imagine,” said local alternative band Flobots. “That’s because the city came together to make it happen, and we think that’s one of those things that makes Denver so special. That’s why we stay here because Denver is a special place.”

Organizations like Youth on Record, musicians like Flobots and artists like Vogl are perfect examples of the talent and passion that thrives here in our community — and that energy is eminently present in the tracks on 303 Music Vol. 1. From songs like “Boys Don’t Cry,” by Trev Rich to “Runnin,” by SUR ELLZ, the local talent can be heard and felt. Check out the full tracklist below.
