Denver, the day has come.

Spanish retailer Zara is officially coming to the Mile High City. According to Denver Business Journal, the fast-fashion company will open in Cherry Creek Mall. The news came via an email sent out to current mall retailers yesterday. The exact date for the opening is unknown but it is said the store will open later this year.

For those unfamiliar (although we’re sure many of you are) Zara is similar to trendy, competitively priced clothing companies like H&M and Forever 21. What makes Zara unique is it in specializes higher-end clothing for women, men and children that you may find at stores like Nordstrom, but at a fraction of the cost.

Zara currently has 2,200 locations across the world and is an $11.3 billion company. But despite its size and popularity — and to the anguish of many fashion-forward locals — Zara has never opened a store in Colorado. It seems like the retailer may have finally caught up to the Mile High craze, and all of our style-oriented individuals can finally take a breath.

Cherry Creek Mall will make the official announcement today, so stay tuned for updated information.
