Paramore and Foster the People are Coming to Denver

Two big names — one 24-date tour. Anyone under the age of 35 remembers jamming in front of the television before school to one of the many Paramore music videos streaming on MTV. They took the rock scene by storm in 2005 with their debut album All We Know Is Falling which topped the UK Rock chart, Billboard‘s Heatseekers Chart and was certified Gold by the RIAA — and that was only the start. Following their initial success the group went on to produce Riot!, which included bangers “Misery Business” and “That’s What You Get.” They received a Best New Artist nomination in the 2008 Grammy Awards following the 2007 album release and hit number two on the Billboard 200. This Tennessee hailing rock band is no joke. And their summer show at Red Rocks, joined by the indie pop masterminds Foster the People, is the place to be on July 24.

Foster The People is best known for their 2010 single “Pumped Up Kicks.” Originally posted as a free download, the track went on to receive a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. It took the number three U.S. Billboard Hot 100 spot and became the first Billboard Alternative Songs number-one single to break a US top spot since King’s of Leon’s “Use Somebody” in 2009. Since their initial success this Los Angeles hailing four-some has gone on to receive one music nomination and award after another. Now, on the heels of their most recent single “Sit Next to Me,” they’re teaming up with Paramore for a Denver show. And we’re pumped up.

The 24-date tour will go from Florida to Brooklyn, Los Angeles and conclude at our beloved Red Rocks Amphitheatre on July 24. Registration for pre-sale begins today and ends Sunday, March 11. Pre-sale tickets will then go on sale March 14, followed by a public on-sale on March 15.
