The first ever Soulection Radio Tour will come to 23 cities across the U.S. this year and Denver is one of them.
The California based collaboration has been bringing together all forms of progressive music since 2011. Their recent releases on Soundcloud have had upwards of 100,000 views. Soulection is well known among industry giants, welcoming high-profile names from Dr. Dre to St. Vincent. And as a globally influenced collective, Soulection broadcasts in more than 100 countries and a has a presence on SoundCloud and Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio.
Soulection is a self-described digital music and technology startup. The independent record label and radio show is a collective of like-minded DJs and producers that have leaned on platforms like SoundCloud, Mixcloud, Twitter and Instagram to grow into what it is today. With hundreds of productions and a massive following, their mixes combine the best of today’s hottest music, much like EDM’s Static FM Radio.

The genres that Soulection plays are expansive. From throwback R&B to new age pop, rap, hip-hop, funk and electronic, to name a few. Soulection crosses all genres and has a sound that can seemingly appeal to listeners of all forms and tastes.
Now, for the first time, co-founder and station DJ Joe Kay will be taking Soulection Radio on a cross-country tour. He will be lighting up Denver’s Bluebird Theater March 8. The tour will bring Kay, as well as unnamed special featured guests to The Mile High for a night of mix-ups, beats and surprise appearances. As Soulection’s co-founder, Kay, was selected to be on Forbes‘ 2017 30 Under 30 List in the Music category and has hosted Soulection Radio on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio since 2015. Recently, lead by Kay, the show has passed its 326th episode.
For many Soulection’s radio broadcasts, music releases and mixes serve as a release from their daily mayhem, and their live performance is sure to deliver nothing less. The performance will also be streamed live on Soulection’s Facebook.
