[UPDATE December 8 at 10:35 a.m.: According to an announcement made by LiveNation Denver, another date has been added to Chris Rock’s stop in Denver. Due to “an overwhelming demand” he will now perform on March 3 and 4, 2017.]
For the first time in almost a decade, Chris Rock is going on tour. The announcement came last night via a Facebook Live broadcast titled “Big Announcement.” In the video, the oft-controversial comedian detailed his plans while outside the iconic Comedy Store in Los Angeles.

“I am going on tour, I am coming to your town, I got all new material, “said Rock before signing off by saying “I can’t wait to see you bitches.”

Starting on Valentines Day 2017 through June 3, the comedian will head to 29 cities, with more stops to be announced. His first show starts in Durham, North Carolina and sets the tone for the “Toal Blackout” tour which will visit many states that— as Consequence of Sound  pointed out— voted for Trump.

So if you were hoping that Rock doesn’t talk about politics, then sorry, because in true Rock fashion, it’s unlikely he’s going to be anything but politically correct. Fortunately, Rock is coming to Colorado, despite the fact we’re a blue state. But hey, it’s probably because he likes Colorado as much as we do since his show is scheduled on 303 Day (March 3) — the unofficial city holiday celebrating everything we love about the Mile High. So if you want to give Rock a warm welcome to Denver, make sure to snag tickets to see him perform at The Bellco Theater on December 7 by going here
