The Rockies may be jonesing for the white stuff this winter, but that won’t stop the world’s powder fiends from descending on Denver this week for the annual SIA Convention. The Mile High club hosts for the third time running, proving either people like us—or we’re centrally located. Regardless, industry insiders are the only ones permitted into the actual trade show; thankfully, the rest of us peons have a wealth of after-party options for rubbing shoulders with the cool kids. City Hall’s Snowdown returns for its second run. The sophomore installment features snowboard soundtrack appropriate acts from Dilated Peoples to Colorado’s prized DMC World Champ, DJ Vajra. Patrons can also expect shwag from Never Summer, Skull Candy, Pop Chips, SoGnar & more. For a glimpse of how rocking last year’s Z-Trip-headlined shindig was, take a jaunt in the time machine below.
