For the first time ever, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws will bring their annual conference to Denver. The pro-pot organization’s 40th annual conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver from the 21st to the 23rd of April. There will also be a pre-registration event on 4/20 featuring a happy hour and “Cannabis Science Theater” which will feature classic marijuana-themed films.

Registration is already underway and spots are filling up incredibly fast–NORML has already signed a second contract with the Hyatt to double capacity for the event. If you’re interested in attending, you can register online. There are discounts for students and senior citizens, and anyone–patients and non-patients alike–is welcome to attend.

On the agenda this year are talks on the plant with subjects ranging from the science of sativa to the politics of pot. Vendors will also attend the conference to show off the latest medical marijuana strains and more. Currently, NORML is working on finding musical guests and performers for the event. While registration doesn’t have an option to sign up for the social/entertainment side of the conference, the option will be available soon and already-registered attendees will be notified.
