So while you wait for your massive tax return in which you will inevitably blow on randomness, I have an affordable fashion feast to wet your appetite. As a true recessionista, I adore cheap and chic collaborations. Although I wasn’t impressed with Target’s most recent fast fashion partnership with Jean Paul Gaultier, this week’s Target designer fashions are beyond exciting.

Two of my favorite designers EVER have signed on to launch Target capsule collections that release on Sunday, April 18th. First, is the ever talented Eugenia Kim. She is a hat genius. Her collection is inspired by old Cuba and the vibrant, colorful culture in Havana. Do not miss getting one of her head turning woven or printed fedoras!

Second, is the very talented Cynthia Vincent. I adore her rich, feminine pieces. While she won’t be doing any clothing for Target – for now at least – her shoes will have you head-over-heels. Influenced by the popular African tribal theme this spring, her collection includes colorful wedges, studded gladiator sandals and sleek high heels. You might just find your sole mate.

And, if that isn’t enough to get you running into your local Target, the remarkable Zac Posen will introduce a Target collection on Sunday, April 25th. The mostly dress collection  all with the Posen aesthetic – are colorful and modern. However, there is a touch of retro glamor that screams Zac Posen. It’ll make you want to strike a pose.
