If you weren’t able to attend Denver Fashion Week and are worried you missed out on emerging trends, you’re in the right place. Here are our favorite trends seen at DFW that you can incorporate into your street style this Fall.

Mini Bows

Bows were all over the DFW runway this spring: all in different forms, some on the garment and a lot in the models hair. Mini bows specifically are having a moment in fashion. Sometimes the finishing touch for an outfit is a bow!

Bows are a fun way to add some extra girly flare to any outfit. To try out this trend yourself, all you truly need are some thin ribbon and bow-tying skills. You can tie a bow onto the stap of your tank top, or find inspo with these DFW models and make your hair a bow display.

Sustainable Fashion with Headphones

Continuing on the accessory train, I hope you didn’t throw out your old wire headphones, because they are now an addition to your everyday look. In fact, several kinds cords and phone accessory walked the runway this year. Whether it was replacing a necklace, straps or a necktie, DFW designers’ use of cords and re-purposed tech was eye catching and innovative.

One designer, GARMS 1 of 1, took DFW’s Sustainabile show to a new level with cords used as hair adornments and jewelry, with some other designers also showing love for this trend with headphones on and a dazzling phone purse. While this one may seem less realistic for everyday fashion, good fashion never sticks to the rules. Its time to get those wired headphones back out and wear them as a necklace, surprisingly cute and functional!

Crochet For All Seasons

There’s a reason this trend has never gone out of style. Crochet pieces have been on the rise since 2020, when everyone needed a hobby and decided crocheting their own clothes was the best way to not go crazy during the pandemic lockdown. (Props to you if you actually followed through with this trend and weren’t like me, who bought all the supplies and gave up in one day).

While knitwear is a cold weather staple, the Spring 2025 runway proved that this texture can work all year round. Whether it was crochet bikinis, mini vests or flowing two-piece sets, crochet pieces can work in any season.
