Spring has sprung! With that, get ready for some more outdoor events in Denver, beginning with Museum of Outdoor Art’s La Primavera Festival or a show at Red Rocks. Rooftops are also opening as the sun warms the city, so keep your eyes peeled for more spots to sip and admire the Front Range view from. Consider painting a spring garden gnome statue for your yard as well!

Djo

When: April 23, 8 p.m. Where: The Mission Ballroom, 4242 Wynkoop St., Denver, CO Cost: $93+ The Lowdown: 

Djo is the stage name of actor and musician Joe Keery. His solo career includes studio albums Twenty Twenty, Decide, and most recently, The Crux. He will be joined by special guest Post Animal for the Back On You World Tour. Keery has rejoined Post Animal for new album, Iron, set to release in July.

Maribou State

Maribou State is an English electronic music duo including Chris Davids and Liam Ivary. Together, they’ve released eight EPs and three studio albums. They are currently touring their latest album Hallucinating Love (2025) with support from RUMTUM.

Half Alive

When: April 25, 6 p.m. Where:  The Fillmore Auditorium, 1510 N. Clarkson St., Denver, CO Cost: $29 The Lowdown: 

Half Alive comes from Long Beach, California and creates alternative/indie music. The band consists of Josh Taylor (lead vocals), Brett Kramer (drums) and J. Tyler Johnson (bass). As they set off on the Persona World Tour, they are joined by The Walters and Mehro.

Shpongle

When: April 26, Where: The Mission Ballroom, 4242 Wynkoop St., Denver, CO Cost: $66.40 The Lowdown: 

Simon Posford and Raja Ram are the duo that makes up Shpongle. The two are seen as trailblazers in their genre, mixing psychedelic trance with ambient sounds and world music. Shpongle is joined by Younger Brother, LTJ Bukem feat. Armanni Reign, Ovoid and Cosmic Trigger with visuals by Android Jones and Johnathon Singer.

The Wrecks

The Wrecks are a pop group from Los Angeles, exisiting of Nick Anderson, Nick Schmidt, Aaron Kelley and Billy Nally. For the INSIDE: OUTSIDE Tour, they will have support from Quarters of Change and Benjamin Carter.

Arts & Draughts – Spring Garden Gnome Painting

Black Sky Brewery is hosting Courtney Marshall of RoanMade Crafts and guests to come paint their own garden gnome statue with more than 40 statues to choose from. Sip on a beer while crafting!

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater

Every month, The Old Spaghetti Factory puts on a new murder mystery dinner for attendees to participate in while dining. This interactive and investigative experience is set in the theme of 1930s Old Hollywood and includes a three-course meal.

Latte Art Comp

Flippin’ Fantastic: A Pancake Party

Bitchin’ Stitchin’

La Primavera Festival: A Celebration of Spring 2025

This spring celebration starts with a pancake brunch, before kicking off with family friendly activities outside in the warming weather, including Maypole Dancing, flower crown making, face painting, an art themed scavenger hunt with prizes and the Cabinet of Curiosities Tours.

Matt Cobos

Matt Cobos “is a one-dude party from Denver.” He has performed at the High Plains Comedy Festival and opened for comedians like Sam Tallent, Adam Cayton-Holland and more. He co-hosts comedy showcase Thick Skin with Mike Stanley and his podcast Cobos Patrick Podcast with Patrick Richardson.
