Since breaking his relative silence from social media, and releasing two singles late last year, anticipation has been building for what else Grant Kwiecinski aka GRiZ has in his wheelhouse. Today, the wait is over. GRiZ has announced his sixth full-length studio album, Ride Waves slated for release on April 5, 2019. In addition to the previously released “It Get’s Better” featuring DRAM, the 14-track album will also include Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg, Matisyahu, Bootsy Collins and many more. The album follows two years of immense personal growth and philanthropic strides for the multi-instrumentalist and producer, who in those years came out in a Huffington Post op-ed and raised over $100,000 for Detroit Public Schools with his GRiZMAS holiday concert amongst other things. On Ride Waves, GRiZ seeks to continue his push toward positivity and peace, even responding to The Parkland shooting and gun violence in the yet to be released “A New Day.” In addition to the announcement of the forthcoming album, GRiZ has also premiered a new single from the project entitled “I’m Good” and has announced a U.S. tour promoting the new album.
