Denver Halloween Pop-Ups Are Going All Out—Try Them Before They Disappear

Your Halloween plans deserve more than a costume and a last-minute group text.

Across Denver, cocktail lounges, rooftops and restaurants are giving October the full treatment: haunted party backstories, villain-inspired drinks, eerie glassware and food worth building the night around. Some experiences are already underway. Others arrive just in time for Halloween week.

Whether your ideal evening involves dinner with skeletons, a rooftop cocktail or a bar where the decorations rival your costume, here’s where to eat, drink and get into the Halloween spirit.

The Last Dance at Sorry Gorgeous

Where: 1350 40th St., Denver
When: October 15–29
Reservations: Book HERE.

Sorry Gorgeous gives Halloween a dress-up occasion with a darker backstory. The Last Dance revolves around a hostess who died before her elaborate party began—and a celebration that somehow never ended.

It’s a fitting premise for a rooftop where getting ready can be part of the evening. Make this the excuse to wear the outfit you’ve been saving, gather your most theatrical friends and trade the usual happy hour for cocktails with a haunted-ballroom storyline. The venue’s official page lists reservations for October 15–29, so this is one to prioritize before Halloween weekend.

A Nightmare in Paradise at Adrift Tiki Bar

Where: 218 S. Broadway, Denver
When: Through October 31
Reservations: Recommended for indoor tables. Bar seating is first come, first served. Book HERE

Adrift’s Halloween transformation brings a sinister streak to its tropical surroundings. The seasonal lineup includes drinks with names such as Last Nail in the Coffin and Husband Killer, plus the group-sized Premature Burial punch bowl.

This is also a strong choice when the group wants to eat before settling into cocktails. Adrift serves Polynesian-inspired food, making it an easy dinner-and-drinks stop rather than another destination that requires a separate dinner reservation.

The bar encourages reservations for indoor tables, but walk-ins can try the bar or weather-dependent patio seating. Current operating hours are Tuesday through Saturday.

Costumes & Cocktails at 54thirty Rooftop

Where: 1475 California St., Denver
When: October 30–November 2, according to the supplied event listing
Reservations: First come, first served.

If the costume deserves a skyline backdrop, put 54thirty on the list. The rooftop’s Halloween plans include special food and drinks, tarot readings, and a caricature artist, according to the supplied listing.

The appeal is straightforward: dress up, head upstairs and make a night of downtown views and shared bites. The bar’s regular offerings include globally inspired small plates, cocktails, wine and beer.

54thirty confirms first-come seating, weather-dependent operations, and a 21-and-over policy after 6 p.m. Check the venue website for the final Halloween schedule before heading over.

Black Lagoon at Lady Jane

Where: 2021 W. 32nd Ave., Denver
When: Through October 31, according to the supplied listing
Reservations: Accepted HERE.

Lady Jane’s Halloween alter ego trades the neighborhood cocktail bar’s usual atmosphere for Black Lagoon’s theatrical mix of eerie lighting, unsettling decorations, and drinks served in collectible vessels.

The supplied lineup includes the tequila-based Bone Temple and nonalcoholic options, giving the group more flexibility than a cocktail-only menu might suggest.

Make this your LoHi drinks destination, especially if elaborate glassware and immersive decorations rank high on your Halloween checklist. For current menus and service updates, visit Lady Jane.

Bewitched & Bubbly at Call Me Pearl

Where: 1600 20th St., Denver
When: October 26–31
Reservations: Recommended HERE

Call Me Pearl gives Halloween a little shimmer with Bewitched & Bubbly, a limited-run menu that leans into playful cocktails and polished presentation.

The venue highlights the Devil’s Matinee cocktail and Midnight Catch tuna tacos—an appealing pairing for anyone who wants their Halloween outing to include something more substantial than a drink garnish.

With a six-day window, this is one to put on the calendar now. Start with snacks and cocktails, then decide whether the rest of the evening needs another stop.

Poka Luna at Poka Lola Social Club

Where: 1850 Wazee St., Denver
When: Through October 31
Reservations: Not accepted.

Poka Lola’s October transformation brings candlelit intrigue to Dairy Block. As Poka Luna, the bar leans into a supernatural atmosphere with seasonal cocktails and programming that includes Tarot Tuesdays and Voodoo Vinyl.

Its location also makes it convenient for a downtown night without a complicated itinerary. Meet for a drink, explore the neighborhood, and give the group chat an actual meeting place.

The Haunting at Steuben’s

Where: 523 E. 17th Ave., Denver
When: Through October 31
Reservations: Strongly recommended HERE. Walk-ins are accepted as space allows.

The Haunting brings fog, cobwebs, and a dedicated Halloween cocktail menu to Steuben’s. Drinks arrive in vessels ranging from cauldrons to doll-head mugs, with select glassware available to purchase separately.

There are zero-proof options, too, including the Spiritless Tomb. The experience is atmospheric rather than a jump-scare attraction, making it an option for people who enjoy Halloween decorations more than being chased through them.

The pop-up is 21 and over.

Tragic Kingdom at Adventure Time Bar

Where: 101 N. Broadway, Suite 9, Denver
When: Running this spooky season; check the venue calendar for individual events and the closing date
Reservations: Not needed for regular service. Check for ticketed events HERE.

Adventure Time Bar puts the villains in charge for Tragic Kingdom, a seasonal transformation with animated-villain inspiration, dramatic decorations, themed cocktails and food.

It’s a particularly useful addition for the friend who wants to go out without committing to a reservation or prepaid experience. The venue explicitly welcomes walk-ins and says its regular weekly programming is free to attend.

Specially ticketed events are the exception, so check the calendar if you’re visiting for a particular performance. Otherwise, this is a straightforward option for a spontaneous Halloween night.

Halloween Cocktails at The Corner Office

Where: 1401 Curtis St., Denver
When: Through October 31
Reservations: Available HERE.

The Corner Office offers another way to participate: a limited Halloween cocktail menu you can work into a downtown dinner or theater night.

Something Wicked This Way Pours includes the $17 Black Magic Martini, the $17 Full Moon Harvest, the $16 Ghostly Margarita and the $16 Vampire’s Bite. The Full Moon Harvest combines bourbon, amaretto and pumpkin syrup, while the Vampire’s Bite pairs prosecco with pomegranate.

Consider this a seasonal cocktail stop rather than a full immersive pop-up—a useful choice when you want a festive drink without building the entire evening around a themed experience.

Dates, menus and availability can change. Check the linked venue pages before heading out.

Lakewood is also hosting a Halloween pop-up!

Casa Boonita at Casa Bonita

Where: 6715 W. Colfax Ave., Lakewood
When: Through November 1, according to the supplied listing
Reservations: Required HERE.

Casa Bonita already understands the assignment when it comes to an over-the-top outing. Casa Boonita adds seasonal decorations, skeletons and Halloween and Día de los Muertos elements to a restaurant where dinner has never been the entire experience.

The supplied listing also highlights food and drink specials and seasonal merchandise. Come for a meal, stay for the spectacle and consider giving that costume another outing.

For anyone whose group is more excited about a full restaurant experience than a late-night bar crawl, this is the Lakewood detour to consider.
