“When we first started hosting musical performances three years ago and we started naming names we would want to be associated with, [Billy Joel] is the first one that came up,” said executive VP & COO of Coors Field, Greg Feasel.

“I couldn’t be more proud to continue the tradition of unforgettable shows at Coors Field with an icon like Billy Joel,” explained Eric Pirritt president of Live Nation.

The star is officially beginning his tour circuit tomorrow — kicking everything off in Orlando, Florida. Up until now, only 11 shows had been announced — including a seven-day run at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Joel hasn’t released new music since 1993’s River of Dreams, but with a discography as well-liked and well-known as his, the concert is sure to be an absolute hit.
