Bryan Dayton, owner of lauded restaurants including OAK at Fourteenth and Acorn, announced a new concept today that will open at The Source. Dubbed as Melted, the concept will bring a dessert shop and counter to the former Western Daughters Butcher Shoppe space adjacent to Acorn. When Melted opens this spring, you can satisfy your sweet tooth with house-made cookies and soft serve ice cream to take home or enjoy in the market hall. Melted is the fifth concept under Dayton’s newly formed Half Eaten Cookie Hospitality restaurant group.

The announcement comes on the heels of recent news that The Source will see an overhaul of some of its vendors. RiNo Yacht Club is leaving for a brick-and-mortar location and is set to be replaced by Isabel, a daytime juice bar and evening cocktail bar. Meanwhile, newcomers Reunion Bread Company will have a soft opening on January 19, and Acorn has a forthcoming expansion and refresh of their existing space.

The Source is located at 3350 Brighton Blvd. Open 7 a.m–11 p.m., Monday–Friday. 8 a.m.–11 p.m., Saturday–Sunday.
