303 Guide to Glam Beauty Looks for New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve marks the end of one year and the start of another, so what better way to close one chapter and begin a new one than with glitter and glam. After picking the perfect outfit to ring in the New Year, we know your next thought is, “What do I do with my face?” No need to worry about lack of knowledge or inspiration because 303 Magazine has put together our top five favorite New Year’s Eve glam looks and the products used to achieve them.

Monochromatic Maroon

The Lowdown: Monochromatic makeup was all the rage this year and we don’t see it fading anytime soon. For this look, the stars of the show include Charlotte Tilbury’s Vintage Vamp Luxury Palette for the eyes and Charlotte Tilbury’s GlastonBerry Matte Revolution lipstick on the lips. To achieve this look apply the light maroon shade from Charlotte Tilbury’s Vintage Vamp Luxury Palette on the lid and in the crease, then apply the deeper maroon shade on the outer lid to darken the look. Finish the look off by applying the GlastonBerry and deep pink blush. Showing up on New Year’s with this makeup will ensure you’re queen of the night.

Dramatic Eyes and Lips

The Lowdown: If you want to really make an entrance, consider wearing a dramatic winged eye and a bold red lip. To apply this look, create a dramatic wing on both eyes with Milani Liquid Eyeliner, then add Charlotte Tilbury’s Rock N Kohl Eyeliner to the bottom lash line and lightly blend it out. To top off the look add a head-turning red lipstick. When all is said and done, your smoldering eyes and loud lips will leave a lasting impression on people well into the next year.

Pretty in Pink

The Lowdown: Pretty in Pink is not only the title of a cult classic ’80s movie but can be the theme of your New Year’s Eve glam. This look features a light pink glitter eye and a soft pink lip. To achieve this glam, apply MAC’s Girlie Eyeshadow into the crease and dab MAC’s Pink Glitter onto the lid. Add a glossy nude pink to the lips, light pink blush to the cheeks, and you are ready to sparkle all night long.

Bronzed Beauty

The Lowdown: Spark a flame in 2019 with a bold bronzed look. The stars of the show include a bronze eye, glowy skin and glossy nude lip. To get the look apply a subtle orange shade from Lime Crime’s Venus Xl Palette into the crease, after blending the crease apply Revlon’s Photo Ready Eye Art all over the lid. To finish the face off add a nude lip and highlighter for an extra glow.

Glitter Queen

The Lowdown: If you want to shine bright like a diamond into this coming year, this look is for you. Glitter accents every major component of this look. The face features a smokey golden glitter eye and a red glitter lip. To achieve this look apply Tom Ford’s Starlet Private Shadow in the crease, after blending add Tom Ford Nightcast Private Shadow into the outer corner of the eyelids. To finish the eyes dab Tom Ford Gold Shadow Extreme onto the entire eyelid. Topping off this look includes adding a deep red lipstick and dabbing the Gold shadow onto the center of the top and bottom lip to add a sparkle on every asset of the face.
