Fashion is about reinvention. We update our looks, bring home vintage pieces to live life anew and resurrect styles from decades gone by. Fashion is also about community, with the power to bring people together. This Saturday, the Denver community will rally around formerly incarcerated people with a clothing donation drive and style sessions organized by Fashion Denver and Bradley Allen

The event will support Second Chance Center, a local nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing the character in individuals who have been in prison so they can have a purposeful life full of hope. The Second Chance Center community will have the opportunity to receive wardrobe pieces and style suggestions from professional stylists Aria Trillo, Megan Timlin and Stevie-Ray Vance, as well as hair trims and mini makeovers by onsite barber ABC Cuts Foundation and stylist Krissy Macdonald. Once styled, Second Chance Center individuals will get a headshot taken by photographer Nathan Leach-Proffer.

The drive will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Second Chance Center is located at 9722 E 16th Ave., Aurora. For more information or to arrange for additional donations, contact Brandi Shigley at (303) 842-7298.
