The Denver Winter Passport Is Back With Some Awesome Upgrades

There are few things Denver dwellers love more than discounted drinks. And for everyone who has been mourning the end of the summer Passport Program, this one’s for you. The Winter Passport Program is back with two-for-one drinks specials — and just in time for the holidays.

The Passport Program is no stranger to the Mile High. Since 2013, the program has sparked summertime and wintertime drinking adventures in Denver by promoting local businesses and non-profits through the pocket-sized discount books. The 2018 winter edition caters to Colorado’s 21-plus crowd with drink discounts. This year, the booklet will feature expanded dates from years prior (now valid November 6 – April 15), 64 two-for-one opportunities across the city and now it has coffee deals. In addition to new bars like Lady Jane and Middleman, this year’s copy will feature deals on java at beloved local spots like Huckleberry Coffee Roasters, Sapor Coffee & Concepts and Black Eye.

“The coffee scene in each of the Passport cities is rich and brimming with world-class, bean-based beverages and coffee purveyors,” said Justin Schaffer, city program manager for The Passport Program. “Nights and weekends of craft exploration require fuel, so why not showcase a few top local coffee spots as well?”

This year’s passport goes on sale at 10 a.m. on November 1. The first 500 people to purchase the Passport will receive a free Mountain Passport Winter Edition. And for anyone aspiring to check off not only the participating Denver locations but all Colorado locations this year, there will be a Colorado Pack available for purchase. The Colorado Pack includes more than 200 two-for-one deal from Denver to Boulder, Fort Collins, Mountain and Colorado Springs.

“With colder temps and snowflakes in the air, it can be easy to get lazy and curl up at home,” said Schaffer. “The Winter Edition is the perfect inspiration to get off the couch and meet an old pal for a drink, explore a new haunt with your partner, or make the trek to a cozy new brewery with a gang of friends. The end result is even more rewarding when the journey is chilly, but the companionship is warm.”

Passports are $25 and go on sale at 10 a.m., November 1, here. You can view a complete list of participating Colorado locations, including coffee, below.
