If you’re fond of the simple things in life, then Grandoozy will suit your fancy. There is nothing more enticing than three full days of festival madness — especially one that is marking the first of its kind in Denver history. Not only that, but its outdoor theme will cater to sunshine and mountain lovers conveniently located in Overland Park, which used to be a homestead and is now home to a golf course. Today the massive festival — which is approaching fast — released its full schedule.

This festival is going to be an experience — which will feature countless extraordinary artists such as world-renowned Kendrick Lamar to perform on Friday, Florence + the Machine on Saturday and Stevie Wonder on Sunday. Other legendary performances will include Phoenix, Young the Giant, Miguel, The War on Drugs, The Chainsmokers and more. The weekend’s eclectic mix will provide a diverse selection for anyone’s liking, along with a multitude of food options, craft beer and arts and crafts for the creatives.

Interestingly enough, Overland Park was originally a site for Colorado’s first plane flight. In addition to the grand opening of the weekend’s festivities — anyone is free to fly away, in a different sense, with Flight School and get informed about unique spirits and booze from around the world. To balance the plethora of beverage options available, Devour Denver is filling the void with scrumptious tastes of local Colorado eateries.

From September 14 to 16, good vibrations are going to shake three stages titled Rock, Paper and Scissors. In addition, you can head over to The Backyard where one can dive into Colorado’s heritage as well as attend open-air discussions on conservation and outdoor activism. Mosey over the ‘80s Ski Lodge for a radical trip into the past in order to boogie. Get down in The Break Room where you can relive dynamite disco and have the time of your life getting jiggy to an abundance of DJ’s.

Grandoozy’s impact is not only going to facilitate positive energy, but it’s also going to lead to greater longevity within the city by promoting a healthy mindset driven by love and celebration. Most of its funds will contribute to sustaining the Overland Golf Course and make significant improvements. It’s time to end this summer with a doozy and experience the beginning of something beautiful.

Festival hours are from 1:30 to 10 p.m. each day — single day or three-day options are available here.
