Grandoozy, Denver’s new three-day music festival, is kicking off next month with huge acts like Kendrick Lamar on Friday, Florence + The Machine on Saturday and Stevie Wonder on Sunday. In addition to the headlining acts, St. Vincent, Sturgill Simpson, Phoenix, The Chainsmokers, Logic, Miguel and many more are performing as well. The festival also features a kick-ass food and booze lineup and now, The Backyard — an experience celebrating Colorado’s rich heritage of outdoor sports and lifestyle. This attraction will offer festival-goers a chance to engage with industry leaders and athletes, peruse eight groundbreaking outdoor vendors (Eno, Grassroots, Icelantic, Klean Kanteen, Never Summer, Rumpl, Topo Designs and Zeal Optics) and even engage with a panel of industry leaders.

There will be a panel moderated by Huckberry on both Friday and Saturday. Friday’s panel will focus on conservation, activism and a passion for the outdoors with topics like climate change, environmental policy and national parks with conservation experts Amy Roberts (executive director of the Outdoor Industry Association) Mario Molina (executive director of Protect Our Winters) and Jon Miller (founder and CEO of Backcountry United). Saturday’s panel will discuss the growing influence that the outdoor industry has on the politic landscape with Alexander Boian (Outdoor Industry Association) Annelise Loevlie (CEO of Icelantic) and Christian Knapp (Chief Marketing Officer of Aspen Skiing Company). And to conclude, Sunday’s panel will feature former Olympians, current athletes and industry icons like Bobby Brown (pro skier) Gretchen Bleiler (Olympic snowboarder) Jeremy Bloom (athlete) and Julian Carr (pro skier and CEO of Discrete Clothing) as they discuss the benefits of an outdoor lifestyle.

In addition to the discussions, vendors and activities The Backyard will offer yoga classes Friday, Saturday and Sunday with trained instructors from known studios like Corepower Yoga and Sunny Trails. Yoga classes begin all three days at 2:15 p.m. at The Break Room on the festival grounds and will be followed by live music at the ’80s Ski Lodge.
