It may just be starting to warm up, but it’s never to early to start planning for those cold winter nights. On December 14 and 15, Trey Anastasio is performing solo acoustic sets at the Macky Auditorium in Boulder. His shows in Colorado mark the last two of his solo tour — Phish’s tour also ends in Denver this year with their three-night run at Dicks Sporting Goods Park. Anastasio also recently finished up a tour with his old group, Trey Anastasio Trio who had not performed together since 1999, mixing Phish classics in with some of his personal works.

Anastasio’s solo acoustic tour provides fans with the opportunity to hear what he can do when on stage by himself, with nowhere to turn for a break or somebody to help get back on the beat. In the past, his solo concerts have included a large variety of songs as well as plenty of stories in between to help bring the crowd in a little closer.

Tickets go on sale Friday, May 4 and can be found here.
