A Taco Passport is Launching in Denver

A taco passport is coming to Denver with two for one taco coupons from 20 of the best taquerias around. Much like the Denver Passport, it will serve as a local’s guide to some of the best tacos in the city — and Denver certainly has no shortage of options. Whether you’re a die-hard traditionalist who prefers to enjoy their carné asada from a street cart or you prefer modern twists on these age-old snacks, most of us have a special place in their heart for tacos. The Denver taco passport features hot spots like Comal, El Jefe and Comida as well as a handful of delicious food trucks. And while it costs $20, $15 of that goes directly to charity.

The Denver taco passport proceeds will go to three charities across the Metro — Food Bank of The Rockies, Lázaro Project and Rocky Mountain Immigration Advocacy Network, all organizations that have made it their mission to make Denver a brighter place to live for all. Just last year, Food Bank of The Rockies alone succeeded in distributing nearly 49 million meals. And that is just one example of the impact that these charities have had locally.

Tacos Tuesday never looked so good. And now, with two for one tacos and a cause through the Denver taco passport you have yet another reason to get out and indulge in some of the cities best bites. The passport will be available for purchase early May and ready to use by June 1.
