No matter the forecast, Urban Farmer will call for ice this weekend.

This Friday and Saturday, February 16 and 17 from 7 to 11 p.m., the LoDo restaurant will host a two-day pop-up ice bar on the outdoor patio to celebrate the winter games.

Urban Farmer will create a full-size bar made completely made of ice. Nic Kosobucki (from the Cruise Room), Andy Owns (from Urban Farmer), Jen Mattioni (Q House) and Nate Maston (from Senor Bear) will serve $12 Belvedere cocktails over it.

The team will serve oysters on ice platters and an assortment of grilled dishes from Executive Chef Chris Starkus like homemade Kielbasa ($5). And, don’t miss the onsite “Olympic ice-carving competition” featuring local chefs. The winner will receive a $200 gift card and the title of “Top Chef Ice Carver Denver.”

Urban Farmer is located at 1659 Wazee Street, Denver. Entry into the ice bar is free, but Urban Farmer recommends making reservations online here
