Tech N9ne and Strange Music Announce Red Rocks Album Release Concert

Tech N9ne

Tech N9ne is no stranger to selling out Colorado venues — he’s been touring Colorado for nearly 20 years and has consistently drawn out a huge Denver fan base. Just this past April, he and a host of his Strange Music roster hit the Fillmore Auditorium and last year they played Red Rocks for the first time since 2009, completely selling it out. Yesterday he announced he would be bringing Strange Music back to Red Rocks on October 13, for a very special show.

This year’s show will mark the release of a brand new Strange Music Collabos album, titled Strange Reign, which will showcase all of the roster’s artists. Collabo albums have been a huge part of the label recently. Their latest effort, Dominion was released on April 7 — only one day prior to their Denver tour date. That means twice this year Tech N9ne and the Strange Music Label have chosen to release brand new records just prior to their Colorado shows.

This year’s performance will feature a long list of Strange Music artists including veterans Krizz Kaliko, Murs, Ces Cru and Stevie Stone. The label is also bringing out quite a few of its newer acts including Mackenzie Nicole, Above Waves, JL and Darion Saffron. To top it off, the show happens to be on this year’s Friday the 13th so you can count on it getting a bit “strange.”

You can purchase tickets through Live Nation starting Wednesday, July 19. You won’t want to miss this stacked lineup of Strange Music artists, plus Tech N9ne is known for his legendary Colorado shows. In the meantime check out our review of last year’s Red Rocks show and be sure to pick up a ticket before it sells out again.
